This is something I miss. Seems now everyone is under contract and it's harder to pull off. But hey with it being Wrestlemania weekend, I am hoping they have a rabbit in the hat somewhere.

Could be a PPV or Wrestlemania, a house show or whatever.

I'll go with Pillman showing up at the 'ECW Arena' back when he was 'working' the people inside the business in addition to the fans

I can't find a video, but Terry Funk coming out of the box dressed as Sandman is also a good one.

It's generic and talked about all the time but Scott Hall showing up on Nitro had me beyond shocked. I didn't have internet until 99 and wasn't smart to any behind the scenes information at the time.

He was announced for the Rumble but seeing Terry Funk show up on Shotgun Saturday night was pretty awesome.

It's not a person but seeing the big Gold Belt show up on TV blew my mind at the time.

The Undertaker at Survivor Series 90 was cool and again I was just a kid that didn't realize it was mean Mark he just came across as a total bad ass.

Steamboat showing up at Clash 17 as a replacement for Barry Windham, teaming with Dustin Rhodes vs. Arn Anderson and Larry Z. Seltzer had reported this was possible but it hasn't been confirmed. It popped the crowd and resulted in a fantastic match in which the titles changed hands. It was a real shot in the arm for WCW too.
