Add this to the list.  Enzo Amore spent $10,000 for a good seat to the Mayweather-McGregor fight and bragged about it on Instagram, where he also posted pics of himself with Jamie Foxx, Jeremy Piven, and Chance the Rapper (Chance looked particularly confused as to who he was in the pic).  He was dressed in full gimmick, which I'm sure is pretty much how he dresses all the time.

This dude is going to be broke within 2 years and maybe dead within 10.  There is absolutely nothing in his current career trajectory that should lead him to believe that he's set for life.

He lives the gimmick. As long as he doesn`t kill nobody, he`s one to keep.

I don't understand Enzo's popularity with the fans. He's a jerk.
Miz buries him on RAW with another great promo. When does the WWE turn Enzo heel ?

We're getting into Vince Russo territory with the number of working shoot promos WWE is doing lately.  I can understand doing it with Cena and Reigns, but this one didn't really do anything other than continue to bury Enzo, which I guess was the point, but if you're not going to fire him then maybe you should give him a chance to stay over.  You can tell that the way he's been portrayed since he got heat is seriously affecting how over he was before all this happened.  And he was pretty damn over.

Weeks of booking Enzo as a joke has finally led the fans to turning on him.  On last night's 205 Live, he was booed out of the building in an interview segment with Neville, who the fans clearly respected more.  They had the segment end with Enzo kicking Neville in the balls and it's the loudest you've ever heard a WWE crowd boo someone for an illegal move.  Heels don't get booed for cheating like that. Given the way both have been booked, it almost seems like they're setting up a double turn at No Mercy, but knowing WWE they just fucked everything up.

Apart from the tide turning against Enzo, the fans who are into 205 Live want to see guys matched up on the basis of who can have action filled, entertaining matches. Enzo is not in the same league as someone like Neville, so the deck is stacked from the start.

The burial of Enzo continued on RAW, with the crowd chanting  "thank you Strowman".

You simply can't present a guy as a loveable loser and expect him to get cheered anymore.  That hasn't worked in 25 years now.  If you say to your audience "This guy isn't very good" the fans will recognize that and turn on him.  For some reason, WWE decided that Enzo's backstage antics needed to become TV fodder, and in the process they took one of their few babyfaces who was genuinely over and gave the fans the avenue to shit on him too, just like Cena and Reigns.  I don't get the point.  Deal with backstage issues backstage.  Even though it leaked online, the backlash didn't start until WWE turned it into an angle.  When heels talk shit about babyfaces and everyone recognizes it as truth, you've killed your babyface.  Heels are supposed to lie, not bring to light every legitimate weakness.

It's part of the problem in having such an overwhelmingly heel-centric show. And the babyfaces they do present strongly are bad actors who tell bad jokes.

Agreed about the "loveable loser" mentality, which makes me wonder where they are going with Jason Jordan.

Jordan definitely is behind the 8 ball getting saddled with this Angle bastard gimmick, by I don't see him as a loveable loser.  The guy can flat-out go in the ring.  But yeah, the heels keep mocking him on TV and mentioning nepotism, eventually that's going to get some of the fans to turn on him.  We'll see if his talent can keep him afloat.  He also NEEDS to stop the goofy facial expressions when he pulls his straps down.  Even when American Alpha were killing it in NXT, he would do that at the height of an awesome match and just ruin it for me.  That will get him booed quicker than anything.

Enzo can't wrestle and has always been jobbed out, going back to the NXT days when he always lost the fall for his team (which Cass correctly pointed out in his heel turn), so when Neville says "you can't fight" and gets a huge pop, it's because it hits way too close to home.

Lawler never looked like he was having an orgasm when he did it, though.
