One of my favorite big man matches was a WWF TV match from 1996 which featured Undertaker against Henry Godwinn. No feud, no buildup for a PPV, just a match for TV. It was fantastic as they gave them close to 20 minutes and both guys worked their asses off.

Vader vs. Stan Hansen from AJPW. The match in which Stanley potatoed Vader in the eye.

Also, there's a Hansen/Andre match from NJPW in 1981 which is considered to be Andre's greatest match.

Battle of the Bam Bams from Windy City around 1987 sounded great...Bigelow and Gordy were north of 300 I believe.

Blackjack Mulligan vs. Andre- I think it was MSG. I think Blackjack qualifies as a big guy.

The Hogan v Hansen match from the 1990 joint show was pretty good as well

Hanse replaced Gordy who refused to do the job for Hogan. Hansen took his place as Hogan and him were good friends.

Bill Goldberg and Sid had a match at Halloween Havoc '99 that isn't a great match from the standpoint of the work, but is good in terms of telling a story. The story of the match was Goldberg laid in a solid beating on Sid, bloodying him up in the process, but Sid wouldn't back down. The bout was finally stopped by the referee on the basis that Sid was too bloody and battered to continue. Sid, looking bad from the blood and wobbly, was helped to the back by Rick Steiner and some referees. He made an attempt to go back to the ring, but was convinced to leave. This was the beginning of a babyface turn for Sid while Goldberg was pivoted to a feud with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall who had attacked him prior to the bell. At a time when Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara were going way overboard in their revamp of WCW, to the point that a lot of dumb and unwatchable stuff made the air, this was pretty good and it made sense.

To me, Sid was impossible to boo after he turned into Nancy Kerrigan after he discovered that Goldberg has crushed his car.

"OH GEEZ! GOLDBERG! WHY ME?!? WHY ME!?!?"

The sad thing about Sid's crushed car was despite the fact it was either a Cadillac or a Lincoln, I forget which, it was clearly something that had been purchased at a local used car lot that day for a few hundred bucks. For 1999 you'd expect a big star to drive a late model car or something classic like a 1960s Mustang. This particular car looked like something of mid 1980s vintage.
