I have gotten some tickets for my daughter and myself to see them in December, was just wondering if anybody here has seen them in concert, and if so is the show as good as hyped up to be?

TSO founder and producer Paul O'Neill died and these are the first shows without him, so it's a crapshoot this year anyway regardless of past performances. I'm sure they'll pull it together though.

Also, there are 2 versions of the band. An East Coast and a West Coast. I have no idea who is in which.

Wong, I might bitch at Rossi and sometimes try to piss him off when we argue about cops, but it ain't personal.

Only one person on the internet wrestling boards that I legit cannot stand, he doesn't post here, and never will because he doesn't have the ability to ban people.

But I did not know there were 2 TSO versions or that their producer died, I am still looking forward to this, I haven't been to a real concert sice Foreigner/Guffria in a 1986, hate crowds.

Saw them last year, so I can't comment about the recent issues/deaths etc, but they were really good, it's basically a Christmas rock concert. Last year they had it split into two halves, the first was pretty much their new album, which tells a story (which surprisingly wasn't bad), and the second part was more their classics with more of the laser shows and pyro.

I’m sitting at the Prudential Center right now about to watch them for the first time. Not sure exactly what to expect but I’ve never heard a bad review.

I do not care for them. Seriously think they are commercialized garbage.

I was invited and went and saw them several years ago.

Loud...yes.

Good...no.

Take off all the hype and all the lipstick (lights, pyro and lasers) ...not that good.

I thought it was a fun show. Don’t need to go every year like some people but it was enjoyable as a one-time thing. Chris Caffery and Joel Hoekstra both shred and I’ve seen them a lot with other bands.
