Did someone confirm this was happening in Chicago?

No, just that Chicago would be a good fit. It has three separate viable venues that have the 10,000 or so capacity they want. It's the third largest metro area in the country. That population regularly turns out in big numbers for wrestling. It's a great town as a tourist attraction to fans traveling from out of state and abroad, all the more so due to the WWE PPV happening in June(Chicago is a very fun summer city). Cody and the Bucks (sounds like a 1970s band) may not be considering Chicago at all, but if they were, a lot of the pieces seem to fall into place.

Everyone mentions Danielson and punk but there is another local who has not been mentioned, Billy Corgan. His name could get them local tv coverage. His current  plan for the nwa fits this model, attach its name with other events.  Put punk over the nwa champ.

Cody and the Bucks appear to have selected Sep. 1 as their date with the event being called "All In".  It looks like Chicago will indeed be the location, although that part was not announced on their social media yet.

Daniel Bryan's contract with WWE doesn't expire until late Sep., according to PWInsider, so he would not be able to be involved.  Nick Jackson has dropped hints that CM Punk has said that he's done with wrestling..but if he was to return it would be to work with the Bucks.

Labor Day Weekend. Not a bad idea for travel.

I have no idea if this is the plan, but even a 10,000 can be used in a scaled down format that can be expanded if tickets move. If Chicago is indeed the location, Wintrust Arena, UIC Pavilion, and Sears Centre all have upper decks that could be initially not for sale. If all the fans are on the main floor and lower deck, it would still provide a good atmosphere by concentrating the crowd in those areas. If tickets moved well, then upper deck sections could be opened partially or in full.

Chicago is a large market and I know that the wrestling fans there come out for a show, but yes...10,000 is a lot.  If Punk or Danielson are involved and advertised, I think they can pull it off.  But asking 10K to show up for the Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes is asking an awful lot.  Case in point, a couple years ago Northeast Wrestling booked the Young Bucks against the Hardys, which was a big deal at the time, and I think they only drew 8,000 - also think they had Hogan in signing autographs.

On Day 2, there have been several confirmations of talent for "All In", none surprising.  Bullet Club colleagues Kenny Omega, Marty Scurll, and Adam Page will be there, as will actor Stephen Amell from "Green Arrow", who of course is a huge fan and has been personal friends with Cody since they worked an angle in WWE (leading to Cody becoming a recurring character on his TV show).

so, i may be wrong, but if it is september 1, that falls on labor day weekend as previously mentioned, which is also when pwg has been running bola the last few years. with it being a saturday that means day 2 of bola, and this card will suck up tons of talent. if they book something concrete, pwg will probably have to run another weekend. this does have potential to be really cool for sure!

The venue selected is officially the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago, which holds 11,000 people.

I'm guessing Punk will be a shoo-in for this?

I wouldn't count on it.  But...it's possible.

Yeah, me neither, not by a long shot.  He's supposedly training for his 2nd UFC fight and has shown zero interest in returning to wrestling.  They obviously can't pay him much, or at least I sincerely hope they don't try because breaking the bank for one talent will ensure a very unprofitable show no matter what they draw.  Even if they could, he's surely passed up tons of money over the years and doesn't seem hard-pressed for cash anyway.  And I'm not aware of Punk being a close personal friend of Cody's or the Bucks' that he would do them this huge favor.  I just don't see it happening.

The big rumor a while back was Daniel Bryan, and it was teased on social media and ROH events, but now I'm hearing that he won't be free and clear of his contract and no-compete by that point even if he left WWE.
