I was watching the Youtubes the other night and watched a really good cage match for the NWA World Tag Titles.
It was a back and forth match and Slaughter hit one of the challengers with a loaded elbow pad.  He pulled Kernodle on top for the pin and then Steamboat and Youngblood are holding the belts celebrating.
I'm not sure what happened to the rest of the match.
Has anyone ever seen this match in its entirety?  Is it out there somewhere?
Also what other matches were on the card?  What I saw had a few other matches, but I don't believe it was the whole card.

The whole card was taped but IIRC there is a Valentine-Flair match that went long which is not out there on the released videos. The restof the card (I believe) is, including the version with the finish of the tag match.
The version you saw was likely from Boris Zurkov's tape, he accidentally taped over the finish. Another version with the finish does exist and was out there before.

yes there are two versions. the one where the finish was taped over and the complete one. Its a shame we have never seen the Flair/Valentine match. some have said it was not filmed but I saw a couple pics from the match where you see a camera filming them. lets hope one day we see it.:)

Don’t both versions have taped over portions with the more complete one being taped over for a moment by Arn Anderson?

Boris Zurkov's tape is the one taped over by Arn Anderson.

I bought my copy from Zurkov. The whole card is there but as said before the Valentine vs Flair Match is not.

When Zurkov started selling the card. Highspots started selling Just the Tag match which came from Kernodle.

I was there for that card.

The finish of the cage match that was taped over was simple, as the referee was running Slaughter out if the ring, Steamboat turned the tables on them and put Youngblood on top of Kernodle, then hauled ass out of the ring and the ref counted the 3 count.

Flair vs Valentine was a title vs title natch, Flairs NWA title vs Valentines US title and went 60 minutes.

The weird part to me was seeing the fans giving them both a standing ovation aftet the match as both were heels at the time, but they put on one helluva match so it was well deserved.

JCP @ Greensboro, NC - Coliseum - March 12, 1983

Featured Bob Caudle on commentary, with David Crockett joining in begining with the Roddy Piper vs. Mid-Atlantic TV Champion Dick Slater match:

Jerry Brisco defeated Ken Timbs via submission with the figure-4 at 3:55 following a butterfly suplex

Mike Rotundo pinned Rick Harris following the airplane spin at 4:46

Jim Nelson & Johnny Weaver defeated Red Dog Lane & Gene Anderson at 6:30 when Nelson pinned Lane with an inside cradle

Roddy Piper pinned Mid-Atlantic TV Champion Dick Slater (w/ Gary Hart) at 17:24 with a fist drop; the title was only at stake for the first 15 minutes of the match; after the contest, Piper left ringside with the title belt

NWA World Champion Ric Flair fought NWA US Champion Greg Valentine to a 60-minute time-limit draw

Ricky Steamobat & Jay Youngblood defeated NWA Tag Team Champions Sgt. Slaughter & Don Kernodle in a no time limit steel cage match to win the titles at around the 33-minute mark when Youngblood pinned Kernodle after Steamboat put his partner on top of Kernodle behind the referee's back, moments after Slaughter had done the same to put Kernodle on Youngblood; prior to the bout, the champions came out to Bill Conti's "Gonna Fly Now" and Kernodle wore a T-shirt which read "Greensboro March 13" on the front and "Slaughter Kernodle World Champs" on the back; Sandy Scott was the guest referee for the match; stipulations stated Steamboat & Youngblood would have to break up if they didn't win the titles

Minor correction on the Piper vs. Slater match: it was for the NWA TV title. It became that in 1978 when Mid-Atlantic TV champion Baron Von Raschke won a made up tournament supposedly involving all of the regional TV champions across the NWA.

and just for trivia. They redid the whole title win and cage match in Toronto later that month. I was lucky enough to be there. when Steamboat and Youngblood won i think it may have been the loudest i ever saw the Gardens crowd. it was crazy. surprisingly i cant remember if the match ended the same way.
