The word making the rounds at the WWE Performance Center over the last several days is that members of the latest class being signed for WWE NXT, which will be revealed in January are:

*Ricochet aka the former Prince Puma in Lucha Underground, who had been expected to sign for some time.  Impact Wrestling had made a run at him, but was unsuccessful.

*Warbeard Hanson and Ray Rowe aka War Machine in ROH.  It is believed the team (who were not under contract) finished up with the promotion at Final Battle and the Philadelphia TV taping the following day.  They will finish up with New Japan at Wrestle Kingdom.

There are other names circulating as well as potentially being signed, including a very prominent female independent talent.  Stay tuned.

Not sure what Ricochet's upside is when they tell him to slow down and do less in his matches. While NXT is nowhere near to the main roster kick-punch style, they don't showcase spot-monkeys.

Maybe he feels like he has done all he can do outside of the WWE so now he needs to go there in order to freshen himself back up for the outside world again.

I’m not really sure what the answer is but I still think that time in the WWE is beneficial to a wrestlers career even if they are misused or held back. Unless a person is great at reinventing themselves they are going to become stale on the indies eventually even if they are working Japan and England as well because every money Match up is put together, taped and sold.

War Machine are going to look tiny compared to Rowen & Harper.

If Ricochet is signing that means Tessa Blanchard will too; she apparently turned down a deal until her boyfriend would get one.
