Imagine how good WWE could be if Vince dropped dead tomorrow and HHH took over everything.  Seriously.  In 2 weeks 205 Live completely transformed.  I really hope it gets the views on WWE Network to justify HHH's approach.

Well, they have at least one new viewer, me. I stopped watching after about maybe 15 episodes, mainly due to the horrific Alicia Fox angles, which had VKM all over them. I started watching again last week.

I was a bit surprised when they actually called the new GM by his TNA name on RAW! I don't think they've done that before, have they?

This is a HHH/NXT thing where they acknowledge the old name and then give the new name.  They did it with KENTA, Tommy End, and other guys.  I much prefer this than pretending that everyone is a "rookie" like they did 4 years ago.

I just finished last nights 205 live and it was excellent. 2 really good matches, some promos and a couple of bio pieces and it’s over.

The bio piece on strong was excellent; it cut to the point but gave enough background to give you the opportunity to care.

This was an edited piece of a much longer 3 week bio that NXT ran on Strong last year. I highly recommend you watch the original if you liked this.

Another fantastic show. Two great matches. I also loved that Drake Maverick told Jack Gallagher not to wrestle in a suit next week, something I mentioned last week.

Having the tournament format really helps the show be a wrestling show and not a McMahon soap opera show. Hopefully they are using this time to come up with a good idea for what to do after WM when the tournament is over.

Amen. Everyone who jumped off the bandwagon needs to start watching again ASAP. The transformation of Drew Gulak last night was great and Spud’s gimmick-killing promos to every member of the roster have been fantastic. Also Mandrews had the best match of his career in an upset win over Tozawa. I never saw much from him in TNA or even the UK Tournament, but he was on fire last night. Great show. That psycho bitch accusing Enzo of rape was the best thing to happen to WWE this year.

It's amazing what good booking, some basic storytelling, and competent announcing can do.  Last night Cedric Alexander and Roderick Strong had a classic for the first spot in the finals of the Cruiserweight tournament (this should've been the finals), and the whole build wasn't even about the title but more about both guys trying so hard to get to WM since they might never have another shot.  Nigel McGuinness put over everything brilliantly, the facial expressions by both guys after the match were perfect, and the match itself was awesome and drew in a crowd that is always dead by the time the main event of 205 Live happens.  This 20 minutes made me care a million times more about WM than 100 hours of John Cena robotically declaring that he wants to have a match at WM and pointing at a stupid sign, which no one gives a shit about no matter how hard they try to get us to care.  This is the way it's done.  Getting to WM felt like it really meant something for the first time in years.  It helps that everyone on the 205 Live roster really is a longshot to ever make a WM.

Last few shows have been good. They've been able to salvage Cedric from the god awful Alicia Fox angle, which in itself is a small miracle. Now if only they could get in front of some crowds that gave more than a causal, semi-interested shit.

They did it with Finn Balor.  Had the screen flash up "PRINCE DEVITT" three or four times and then it changed to "FINN BALOR".

Give Road Dogg the book and he can screw it up in 6 episodes or less, guaranteed!
