Good! If he comes to the Boston area, I'll be one of the first to buy tickets for me, the wife and our daughter.

Just shows how stale wrestling is today that Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are still over. This would be like the WWF bringing back Bruno and Pedro during the attitude era.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

It isn't even a crime what he did.

Meanwhile, Stone Cold beat his wife causing bruising and a bloody nose, was arrested, charged, received probation and a fine.  Stone Cold is a full-fledged WWE Hall of Famer.  You saying that using the N-word in private conversation with a woman you're banging is worse than beating your wife?

Wow....this again kid?  Ok, maybe it's time to smarten you up to the business.

You have 2 different things here, it's one or the other:

1) Fundamental Racist - A person who hates all people of a certain race, often defined by the color of their skin.  No exceptions, this person hates them all.

2) Racially Insensitive Comments - These are inappropriate comments made by an individual that can be found offensive to individuals of a specific race or ethnic group of people.

On the home video, Hogan made racially insensitive comments about a young man that was keeping company with his daughter.  He made inappropriate comments about the person that were certainly racially insensitive, hurtful, and wrong.

During the same rant, Hogan remarked that he would have been fine with his daughter being with a man of the same race as this individual, as long as he was rich.  This would indicate that Hogan, while never being accused of being the sharpest knife in the drawer on these issues, wouldn't actually be a "Fundamental Racist."  He would have to hate all African American people and wouldn't suggest his daughter being with a rich African American person as an option.

Therefore, it's not hard to conclude that Hogan made inappropriate and racially insensitive comments.  Is it possible that he could misclassify himself?  Yes.  You can look at his grammar, etc. on his social media posts and recognize his limited ability in certain areas.

Do lots of other individuals (including African Americans) who have known him personally over the years believe he is a fundamental racist?  No.

Racially insensitive comments, while inexcusable here, have been made all over the place in our culture.  WWE HOFers Snoop Dogg and Booker T, comedians like Chris Rock, and even Vince McMahon himself have used similar language in the past.  But somehow, you are holding this guy accountable, yet no one else.

For crying out loud, the guy apologized multiple times.  What else can he do?

This is starting to look like a case of personal bias here.

I dunno. In terms of wrestling I don't know how long you 'punish' Hogan. Forever seems too long.  Taking him out of the Hall of Fame seems silly also.

Hogan made a bad comment but like Boz listed above it doesn’t sound like he was hating on a race but hating on a person within the race. Just like any other parent I’m sure he wants the best for his child and if they are connected to a person that doesn’t meet their standard their might be disappointment and anger.

None of us are Hogan so none of us will ever really know what he felt in his heart and mind.

Well, it sounds like he was frustrated and said things he regrets. I am sure some of the regret was that he got caught. Still, I won't label him an absolute racist because I don't know what he thinks and what is in his heart.

As someone who is part black (Dad - although I highly suspect some Caucasians were in his line as well), I know that people say racist things all the time. I look Irish and many people don't know my background. I got to hear people say shit all the time. As a teen, it drove me insane. Now, I don't give a shit and I don't automatically label people racists because they say things without thinking or in a moment of anger.

There are racists, of course. We all know that. I just won't automatically apply the label to someone who does not have a history other than some ill advised comments. Now, if he had said, "we should Lynch them all", then he would be a racist IMO.

Every situation is different I guess.

I don't see him in an active role on tv if that is what you mean by "away," but I'd like to see him return in at least these capacities:

 - Merchandising, action figures, etc.
 - Back in the video games
 - Attending the HOF ceremonies
 - Doing interviews for documentaries on the Network
 - The Rock 'n' Wrestling cartoon back on the Network (my kid loved that show)

If they want to use him for something else, they should have him be involved in the Make-a-Wish stuff or some other charity type of thing.  Hulk was always good with the Make-a-Wish stuff.
