Good. Now we just have to work on drugs and prostitution.

The way I understand the decision though is that it's not legalized, it's just not federally prohibited.  It's up to states to legalize it individually now.  I imagine most will eventually, but we're still in for a lot of push-back for years to come as the battle is fought on a state-by-state basis.  A big win for States Rights.

Ironically that fat tub of shit Chris Christie fought hard for this because he was trying to save Atlantic City, but he fights against his own arguments when it comes to pot.  When it doesn't serve his agenda, States Rights is bad, mmkay.

The ruling means individual states can now legalize sports gambling if they choose. Many will not. In Minnesota there is a strong anti-gambling coalition between liberals who see it as a tax on the poor and conservatives who see it as morally corruptive. Meanwhile there is a strong Indian casino lobby that will fight tooth and nail against any expansion of gambling that would potentially undercut their revenue and profits. The local horse track, which has OTB and a card room, but can't get the slot machines it wants because the Mystic Lake Casino just down the road on the reservation will use the nuclear option to prevent it, would love to have a sports book, but will face plenty of obstruction and opposition. The state lottery would no doubt love to administer a sports gambling game of its own. It'll be a bloody battle en route to seeing if and how it gets implemented here and elsewhere.

I see PA legalizing it since we already have gambling. It may take a while though. Our pols needs to be paid off first.

I won't rush in. I expect slanted odds (laying 6 to 5 instead of 11 to 10) as the states will get greedy.

Never seen the allure of putting up money on events over which I have no control.

Various news sources are predicting that Pennsylvania will be one of the first states to implement sports gambling. According to this Washington Post article, the only obstacles / negatives in Pennsylvania are:

1) Each casino would need to pay a $10 million licensing fee
2) The gambling revenue would be taxed at 36%

I gamble if it wasn't legal. Just use Bovada as my gambling site.

It’s of no interest to me but I’m sure a lot of people are thrilled and whatever states legalize it will reap the benefits

He broke a MLB rule, not the law.
