Some guys weren't going to show up.  The latest number was less than 10 would show.  That is bullshit.  Literally minutes before this was announced the reporter that does nothing else but follow the Eagles said that 30 to 35 were going to attend.  Also, no Eagles took knees last year.  Jenkins raised his fist and Long put his hand on Jenkins shoulder.
More political bullshit.  Never ends.  Fuck it.  I don't care whether they visit that place or not.  Just win.

I"m guessing when Golden State wins the NBA title they won't be coming either. THen presuming The Caps win the Stanley Cup, there's only 6 Americans on the team, so the majority of team probably don't even care.

But what about Ovie??  This could be the smoking gun Robert Mueller's been looking for.

I totally respect those players who were not attending. I say this not because of my dislike of Trump. I just cannot stand it when anybody tries to make something into a bigger issue and then tries to use their authority to make a point.

This has absolutely nothing to do with patriotism. Nothing.

When did visiting the president become a thing for sports teams in America? Do other countries such as Britain, Spain, Germany, Russia and Australia do the same with their sports teams?

I don't know when championship teams started getting officially invited, but here's a picture of a young Babe Ruth existing the West Wing after meeting with Warren Harding in December 1921.

I just feel bad for Philadelphia fans. Even though the Presidential congratulations is meaningless in regards to the sport, it is part of the victory perks package. Philadelphia Eagles have waited for the day to become champions.

That guy should not have both hands in his pant’s pockets; that’s a bad look.

Looks like he's giving The Babe the big eye, too.  Christ, can you imagine how much pussy Ruth was getting back then?  He must have given Chamberlain a run for his money.

I applaud the players that stood by their beliefs.
