Major national news breaks....you only have these two news stations to pick from.  You can only pick one.  Which one do you pick for credibility purposes?

CNN. Every time they talk about Trump, their nose grows.

FOX, because of the supreme entertainment value. They spew their bullshit nonstop with such incredible vitriol and venom. They are elite level masters at diversion. I haven't watched any so called "legit" news shows in a couple of years but I used to watch FOX for the same reason I would watch something like I Love Lucy, it was entertainment at it's purest. It had nothing to do with news or reporting or valid editorial viewpoints

FOX knowingly lies and most of the time I think CNN is so stupid they don’t know they’re lying. There’s entertainment value in both.

politics, opinions and slant aside....FOX coverage of breaking events is nowhere near CNN for quality and substance

Neither, both sensationalize everything. But if you chose Fox for actual news, then I'll never take anything you say on any issue seriously.

CNN"s breaking news reports are actually a bit comical because in the rush to get it out there first, they usually babble incoherently and then reverse themselves every 15 minutes as new information emerges.  They're impossible to take seriously anymore.  I've never seen FOX for breaking news so I don't know how they do it, I'm sure not well.

Neither. If I watch anything national, it's usually a feed of CBC or BBC for world news. The shit down here is reality news programming. I can't take a guy like Sean Hannitty/Tucker Carlson or Don Lemon seriously.

Both are good for sheer low brow entertainment value. For real news I go to Reuters. I'll go with Fox for the sheer blatant eye roll value (CNN is a tad less blatant).

CNN just for the nostalgia factor. For a long time, CNN was THE "cable news network" since it was the only 24 hour national news network broadcasting.
