Wow. They released him! Didn’t see that coming even in this day and age. Kid could have written his own ticket.

Yeah, this was all over the news here in KC this afternoon. I suspect that Ware takes over for the rest of the season, then they make a big push for Bell in the offseason. This will kill any momentum for them heading to the playoffs. THey'll still make them, but I suspect losing that edge will be enough for them to drop their first game in the playoffs.

Everyone is saying he will get picked up by someone. I cant see it. What a PR nightmare. Not for awhile at least.

His crew is dumb, they need to do whatever it takes to make sure the cash cow isn't the one in the line of fire. If the girl was acting up and not down with the train and called him the "N Word" then his crew or a girl should have handled that not Kareem Hunt.

Also maybe i am fucked up but besides the obvious racial dynamics in this i didn't think the video was that vicious as TMZ named it. Chiefs are full of shit and the NFL also like did they learn from Ray Rice do whatever it takes to get the video don't trust anybody in the incident's account like BJ said "What a PR nightmare"

Sounds like a perfect fit for the Raiders. Or the Bengals. Are they basically still 55 ex cons wearing a different type of prison jumper?

The final push down is viscious enough I think to make this a serious matter.

I actually commented before seeing the video.Hunt's temple should get up close and personal with a bullet.
These nimrods that think they are so tough. Seriously. That push where he drives her basically into the elevator door is bad enough, then he comes back for that manly kick.
Complete waste of flesh.

Yeah but she used the n-word.

People lose jobs and have careers derailed over that. All she got was a push to the ground.

He did write his own ticket. Out of the NFL hopefully.
There are probably alot of exaggerated claims in the " pound me too" movement but when you're a stupid dumbass like Hunt, not only for doing what he did because it doesn't make him look tough it just makes him look like all the other asshole athletes who think they are above the law but because he did it and didn't have 2 functioning brain cells to realize it just might be recorded and get him in trouble.

Obviously I don’t know any of them, their intentions, desires or feelings but people (men and women) need to do a better job of not putting themselves in a vulnerable position.

LeSean McCoy has done a lot worse. So did Marvin Harrison. Just no video to prove it.

I think Hunt will play again, and I don’t think he clears waivers. Raiders might not take him because of Biletnikoff, but Indy, Cleveland, Houston, Philly, Miami, Buffalo, Seattle, Jets, Chicago, Minnesota, Green Bay could all use him - and most of them have had bigger problem children in their organization before and never shy away from second chances. New England would take him too, but I doubt the waiver gets that deep. Remember, he costs nothing because he’s on the restricted list and is on a 3rd round rookie contract. Any team that has the need will do all the PR work necessary to get a cheap young asset on their roster, period. What would be hilarious is if Irsay signs him. That would destroy the LeVeon Bell market because not too many “good” squads have the cap space to fit him in.

The Vikings won't go anywhere near Kareem Hunt, no matter how much he'd help the team at RB. The reaction from the media and general public to even general interest by the Vikes, let alone actually signing him, would be overwhelmingly negative, to the point that sponsors would flee. The team won't risk anything that would give the team a PR black eye. Hunt as a Vikings player is definitely not happening.
