The 2018 pool is still ongoing, and will end when the 2019 Royal Rumble starts, whereby the 2019 pool will begin. On that note, here are the rules and runners for the 2018 pool. Rules for 2019: There were very few releases in 2018, but I have a good feeling that, with so many other companies now offering contracts and opportunities, we will see wrestlers requesting their releases, or allowing their contracts to run down. And someone always gets fired. Pick 12 names from the current Raw, SmackDown, 205 Live, NXT or NXT UK rosters (with at least three coming from NXT) and rank them from your 15 point pick to your 1 point pick. The rosters will be posted shortly, and are taken from WWE.com, with a few adjustments to account for recent storyline changes. Anyone from any of the wrestler lists can be included and should be ranked from 12 (most likely to be released) to 1 (least likely to be released). At least TWO of your 12 wrestlers must be listed in the NXT or NXT UK rosters. In addition, pick three non-wrestlers (each worth 4 points.) You can use this format: 12 pts - 11 pts - 10 pts - 9 pts - 8 pts - 7 pts - 6 pts - 5 pts - 4 pts - 3 pts - 2 pts - 1 pt - Non wrestler #1: Non wrestler #2: Non wrestler #3: Additional scoring: +5 points if any of your picks, having been released, appear on television or a televised event for Impact, ROH, MLW or AEW -5 points if your NXT pick is drafted to the main roster of Raw (including 205 Live) or Smackdown (one-off appearances do not count) +5 points if your pick dies -5 points if your pick wins the WWE World or Universal titles, or the Raw or Smackdown women's titles +5 points if any of your picks, having been released, win a title in Impact, ROH, MLW or AEW +10 points if your pick wins the NWA World Title +2 for the first (or first group) of future endeavors double points for any releases in January 2020. Deadline is the start of the 2019 Royal Rumble PPV, and the pool runs until the start of the 2020 Royal Rumble PPV. Send your picks to me. |

We have our first departure already. Hideo Itami gone. No one picked him. pwinsider: Hideo Itami, aka KENTA, finished up officially with World Wrestling Entertainment at last night's Smackdown taping in Phoenix, Arizona, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The word making the rounds is that Itami requested his release from the company. The former Pro Wrestling NOAH Global Honored Crown Champion signed with WWE in July 2014 with a big ceremony presided over by Hulk Hogan. Rechristened Hideo Itami, he joined WWE NXT with a lot of fanfare and even competed in the 2015 Andre the Giant Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 31 in Santa Clara, California. Unfortunately, he had issues transitioning over to the WWE style initially and then found himself out of the ring with a bad shoulder injury that required surgery. The recovery kept Itami out of the ring from May 2015 through June 2016. Itami returned to NXT TV in April 2017, soon feuding with then-NXT Champion Bobby Roode, Kassius Ohno and then Aleister Black. Itami was called up to become a member of the 205 Live roster in November 2017 and has been a featured competitor for WWE's Cruiserweight brand. At the Royal Rumble PPV over the weekend, Itami was pinned by Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy. At 37 years old, Itami would certainly be a strong pickup for another promotion. He has a long history with Ring of Honor (including some classic bouts with Bryan Danielson) and would certainly be in great demand back home in Japan, where he has a storied history and lots of fresh potential matches in New Japan, NOAH or All Japan. Of course, with All Elite Wrestling signing talent, one would think Itami would certainly add to the depth of that promotion as well. Itami changed his social media accounts back to his former ring name, KENTA, over the course of the last day. Meltzer has reported the reports but hasn't confirmed the story yet. |

Adding the points for picks who have gone on to appear in AEW or Impact: Angelic Assassin - 38 pts srossi - 30 pts hoganfan4life - 28 pts khawk - 17 pts I think this will probably be the last WWE Future Endeavor Pool, since it's been getting less interesting each year with the lack of releases. I thought this year would get good with all the places for people to go, but WWE has just refused to let anyone leave. If there is enough interest, I may be persuaded to do a WWE/AEW/Impact/MLW/ROH future endeavour pool next year. Last edited on Sat Aug 31st, 2019 05:56 pm by Kriss |

It sounds more like she's having a change of heart about if the road is for her and is weighing her options. Last edited on Fri Sep 6th, 2019 09:50 pm by srossi |
