Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Arn Anderson has apparently been let go from WWE, this according to multiple sources.

Details are scarce, but multiple sources tell us Anderson — who is a WWE Hall of Famer, Four Horsemen and longtime backstage producer — exited the company on Thursday.

Arn joined WWE as a road agent not long after WCW was bought out in 2001. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 alongside the other Four Horsemen.

It’s unclear at this time what led to Anderson’s departure from WWE.

The timing is kind of odd seeing as how WWE apparently has something special planned for old man Flair's 70 birthday.

Sycho Sid finally can get a HOF honor, and would probably no-show it for MLB season openers. Nevermind they are 2 weeks earlier. Just accept the conflict.

If true, Arn Anderson getting fired could have been for cause, but the WWE has also hired a lot of younger road agents/producers in the past few years. There are only so many of those spots to go around and the younger wrestlers are working a style that will be more in tune with someone like Matt Hardy or Adam Pearce than Arn. He could just have been a numbers game victim albeit an oddly timed one.

Released and fired aren't the same thing. Also, the literally today announced five new agents.

Wonder if he just gave up his spot? Not a spot like your dog Spot. Not a liver spot. But his spot.

What, he couldn't trick any of the NXT chicks into giving him a BJ in exchange for a push? Great story about Major Gunns on this one.

Haha, google Arn and Tylene Buck or Major Gunns. Dude was asking new WCW "talent" for favors in exchange for a push. Word has it that he tried it with Midajah, Major Gunns, Pam Paulshock, that whole crew in '99. Had some success with Major Gunns. Only problem - he wasn't the fucking booker. He wasn't even in the same room as the booker. He was a road agent.

Did we ever find out why Arn is gone? Anything in the latest Observer?

As noted prior, Arn Anderson was abruptly and surprisingly fired by Vince McMahon recently and it was reported at the time that it was due to an "incident" at a house show, with no other details being provided.

-- An unconfirmed report by WrestlingINC suggests that Arn's dismissal did indeed occur after an incident at a house show and it was because he allowed an intoxicated Alicia Fox to wrestle. Anderson was the road agent responsible for that match and apparently cleared Fox to wrestle despite her condition. When Vince McMahon found out, he was "furious" and terminated Anderson

Was Alicia Fox disciplined at all for showing up intoxicated?
