If you remember seeing a limping guy that looked like he wanted to kill a bunch of millenials because they kept bumping and pushing him while he didn't realize there wasn't a single seat to be had in the building, that was me. Dorothy has a great voice, the songs need some help, but what she's most famous for are her really big tits that sometimes accidentally work their way into the act because she likes to sing braless.i think day 2 looks the best. i have seen the black keys and gary clarke jr, and would see both again. i would love to see greta van fleet and edward sharpe also. That’s a really gay show for both us to admit to being at, but I’m OK with it. Maybe one day we’ll meet at a Mary Kay Party.

Miley might be interesting in a gig like this. I don't believe she's played to too many festival crowds. She is an amazing vocalist and when she does covers she picks good ones. On the other hand the crowd could shit on her so bad that it would make Joni Mitchell at Isle of Wight look like Queen at Live Aid. Rival Sons, Greta, Hot Fucking Tuna, and the Black Keys could all have interesting sets. Three days worth is a stretch though.

Miley blew people away at the Chris Cornell tribute show with her rendition of "Say Hello 2 Heaven". She won over a MUCH tougher crowd that day than the eclectic mix of hipsters and stoners that will be at Woodstock 50. And I wanted to hate her cover of Zeppelin's "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" but it was annoying that she kinda nailed it. Hmmmm.......... http://bravewords.com/news/woodstock-50-cancellation-just-a-rumour-but-ticket-sales-now-go-on-hold Organizers for Woodstock 50, celebrating the anniversary of iconic 1969 musical and cultural event have put a "hold" on ticket sales which were scheduled to start tomorrow (April 22nd) in honour of Earth Day, leading to rumors that the event may be cancelled. Tickets will now go "on sale soon" for the concert set to feature more than 80 performers and running from August 16th - 18th Aug. 16-18 in Watkins Glen, Schuyler County in New York state. According to Billboard, talent manager Amanda Phelan with Woodstock 50 talent-buyer Danny Wimmer Presents sent an email to agents representing acts at the concert in Watkins Glen, New York, explaining, "There is currently a hold on the Woodstock 50 on-sale date. We are waiting on an official press statement from Woodstock 50 regarding updated announce, ticket pricing, and overall festival information. We will get this information to you as soon as we receive it."

Subtract Santana, add The Killers and Sturgill Simpson, and you would get my list. All things honest, if I didn't have to go too much out of my way and I didn't have to pay more than $10, I would add Jay Z to my list. I always liked 'Empire State Of Mind'...Other than that, I would be going in cold as far as knowing any of his other songs, and would be for the "spectacle" purely.

Fuck Woodstock, the Exit 111 Festival in Tennessee in October just released their lineup and it's stacked. 90% of these bands are pretty awesome. You have Graveyard buried more than halfway down the list and they kick all sorts of ass. Note that earlier in the thread I mentioned that Fever 333 was LITERALLY booked at every festival, and here they are again. I assume there will be two stages going at once with a Main and minor?

I won't even argue that the Exit 111 Festival has a good lineup, but that event is also after a totally different audience than Woodstock 50. It is hard to make a true comparison between the events.

I heard that at this festival Slayer, Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Shield will have a final retirement Triple Threat match. This is a great lineup for 1982 or so. I'm surprised Black Stone Cherry didn't become bigger than they are. I guess they needed someone to replace Cheap Trick after those guys finally all drop dead.
