How did this get made is a funny one, where they pick a movie that was the shits and do an overview of it. Yesterday I listened to the episode on No Holds Barred and it was hilarious.

I am a big fan of the Bryan and Vinny Show with Bryan Alvarez and Vincent Verhei through the WON/F4W site. They do the show three times per week, one show centers on World Championship Wrestling in chronological order (they're in the summer of 1988), one is for the Raw and Nitro from 19 years to the date before the given week, and one is for a combo of the current episode of NXT and WWF Superstars from mid 1992 plus they chat with Bryan's Granny about mundane stuff in her life plus Dancing With The Stars. The JCP show review gets bumped when the WWE has a PPV and they review that instead. The duo is also liable to sidetrack onto stories from their indy wrestling days, the weather, ripping on their producer, their families, idiot drivers or whatever.

There are plenty of wrestling podcasts. Apart from the content, the thing that makes it work for me is the chemistry. I forget how long Bryan and Dave Meltzer have been doing podcasts together, but they still seem like they've just been introduced. Bryan and Vinny are in their early 40s. They have known each other and been close friends since they were in high school. As a result the banter can be the most entertaining thing about the show. They speak like friends rather than co-hosts or work colleagues.

Stuff You Should Know is pretty good. They cover things from how crime scene cleanup works to how stem cells work and everything in between.

Rogan's podcast is probably the one I listen to the most.

'Hardcore History' with Dan Carlin....Highly recommended. He only puts one out on average every six months, but in recent years each episode has been running four or five hours. Tge most recent episode is called 'Supernova In The East Part 2', which surprise, is the second episode covering Japan in the lead up and during the Asia-Pacific War (1937-1945). Dan Carlin really has a way of presenting history in an entertaining way. The highly recommend 'Prophets Of Doom' (The Anabaptist rebellion in Munster Germany in the 1500's) and the five part 'Wrath Of The Khans' (Genghis Khan and the Mongol Empire)

Comedian Joey Diaz's 'The Church Of What's Happening Now'.

Comedian Dean Delray's 'Let There Be Talk'. Recommend to those who are not only fan's of 80's hard rock. but fan of music in general.

'Waking Up', now called 'Making Sense' with Sam Harris.

Second that one.  Even if you are not sure about the guest it usually is interesting.

Check out the Crime In Sports podcast. Every episode features an athlete who has had trouble with the law. They are extremely well researched and entertaining.

Several episodes feature pro wrestlers like Chris Adams, Buck Zumhofe and Jimmy Snuka. The Chris Adams one is great. Learned a lot of stuff I didn't know about Adams' later years.

Most of the episodes are on YouTube as well.

I have to suggest the Bischoff podcast as well as Jim Cornette's Drive Thru and Something to Wrestle With.
What Happened When is funny but its in a Mystery Science Theater format.

Thanks for the heads up. I am going to check it out.
That reminds me of "Gladiator". The multi part series they did on Aaron Hernandez was fantastic.
"Caliphate" is another great podcast which is about Isis and the fall of Mosul.

On the wrestling side of things I really enjoy the 605 superpodcast, 83 weeks and what happened when. I find enjoyment in some episodes of something to wrestle with but I’ve kind of reached my limit of Prichard. The Sean Mooney podcast had a few episodes I enjoyed but not many.
