Anybody watching this? Stephanie came out to boos, Shane came out to boos. Miz came out to a big pop, only to get his butt kicked by Shane, who apparently opened him up. Miz chased him off with a couple of chair shots. Apparently Miz is now on Raw. Last edited on Tue Apr 16th, 2019 01:33 am by Boz1515 |

No commercial, but the announcing team tells us that Ricochet and Black are officially on Raw now. They've been on pretty much every show for weeks. |

After the commercial there is an 8-man tag. The announcers are now saying they don't know if Ricochet and Black are on Raw for sure. What....is.....happening? I just feel like Vince is in Gorilla giving order on the commentary and changing things on the fly. |

Elias is out to remind everybody that he has been beaten down by non-active Cena and Undertaker recently. Montreal is a good crowd tonight as always. Out comes Raw's newest member, Rey Mysterio. Sasha Banks is absent, so we have the Illconics vs. Bayley and the newly arriving Naomi. It makes sense that she would move over since the Usos have. Before the match, they ran an "earlier today" clip where Bayley was trying to call Sasha and the Illconics showed up. Bayley's phone indicated that it was like 8:20pm when the clip was being produced, not earlier in the day as presented. |

So far, all of the newly crowned Raw champions from Wrestlemania have done non-title jobs here. Ryder/Hawkins, Finn Balor, and now the Illconics all losing by pin fall tonight. Not sure how that helps continue the Wrestlemania momentum, but that’s current WWE booking. |

I loved what little I saw of Uhaa Nation before he signed with WWE. He was awesome as this huge guy flying around with the rest of the Dragon Gate roster. Then he he got to WWE and even on NXT Triple H told him that he was a big guy who should be using power moves. What NXT did do was give him a great introduction and told his story, making him into a huge baby face. Vince saw him and his muscles reminded him of a young Tony Atlas, and he signed him to the main roster before the cum had dried in his sock. They took his uniqueness away, promoted him before he'd had a chance to shine in NXT (it looked like he was going to defeat Balor for the title at one point), and now he's just another guy. |

I never saw him as a big guy. He comes across like he's 5'6". He's got a bit of a barrel chest and maybe in 2019 that's enough to be considered "big" by default, but it's insane that they won't just let him do what he does. And the last person he should've been paired with is Titus O'Neal if they wanted him to come across as a big guy, because Titus is one of the few legit big guys left in the company, and they don't do anything with him either. But Apollo looked like Hornswoggle standing next to him. Last edited on Wed Apr 17th, 2019 08:42 pm by srossi |

The rosters should have been mixed up more. The Viking Experience name is ridiculous. I also think the Lacey Evans gimmick is corny and will keep the wrestler from getting over. It comes off like something from a 1994 edition of Superstars that ought to have her doing an interview with Todd Petengill to challenge Alundra Blayze in between a Headshrinkers squash and Shawn Michaels having Tatanka on the Heartbreak Hotel segment. |

WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe is slated to be at this week's Raw taping, PWInsider.com has confirmed. We are told he is not currently slated for the Smackdown taping. Joe was backstage at both TV tapings in Montreal this past week but was sick and pulled from appearing. With WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor shifted over to Smackdown, it makes perfect sense to slide Joe over to Raw. |

pwinsider.com The word backstage at today's Monday Night Raw taping is that WWE has opted to rescind moving Andrade and Zelina Vega to Monday Night Raw. The duo are officially back on the Smackdown roster after their excellent performance last week against WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor. This leaves the door for that rivalry to continue after Andrade defeated Balor in their non-title bout last week as Balor is now on Smackdown Live. PWInsider.com has also confirmed that Aleister Black will be moving to Smackdown going forward, so his team with Ricochet has been officially split up. WWE strongly teased the duo would be appearing on Raw last week, but we are told by several sources Black will be exclusive to the blue brand. |

As noted earlier today on PWInsider.com, Aleister Black, Andrade and Zelina Vega were moved from the Raw brand over to Smackdown. PWInsider.com has been told that the move to bring Andrade and Vega back to Smackdown was made, in part, at the request of FOX as the brand lacked any major Latino stars following the Superstar Shakeup last week and that once the series moves to FOX this October, there are plans to spotlight WWE's Latino stars on their Spanish language station, Fox Deportes. Andrade is of course, dating Charlotte Flair, as they publicly revealed on the red carpet of the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this month, so this move also allows the couple to remain on the same touring brand. Black was moved, at least in part, due to the fact he is married to Zelina Vega, as WWE has made an effort to keep married couples on the same brand, but we are also told there were some ideas pitched for him as part of the blue brand. There is no word when talents were informed of the move. |

Prominent sign on Raw last night right across from the hard cam: "Give The War Raiders Their Name Back" Corey Graves also made a joke during the Riott Squad's match on the Shield Farewell special that it was a difficult week for Sarah Logan because her husband forgot his name. Logan is of course married to Ray Rowe. Not really the best introduction for a bad-ass tag team to have a name so silly that it's instantly mocked even by those who work for the company. Last night's booking was head-scratching even for WWE. Cesasro, who is solo while Sheamus is out with an injury and has been misused for about 7 years, beat Cedric Alexander in his Raw debut. WTF? So the top star on 205 Live comes in as a jobber? And then a repackaged Robert Roode, who has done nothing on the main roster, beats Ricochet, who was getting a huge push until now. None of it makes any sense. If WWE wanted to push Cesaro and Roode, why do it at the expense of Alexander and Ricohet? They couldn't have had one of them beat No Way Jose to start building them back up? And they're likely not even going to push Cesaro and Roode, which makes this even more bizarre. The only bright spot in WWE these past 2 weeks was seeing Kevin Owens make a fool of himself as Big E's replacement in The New Day. We all knew he was going to turn on Kofi, but why pull the trigger after 2 weeks? Is Vince trying to get in every angle before he dies? What's the rush? This is what drives me crazy about WWE and makes it so unwatchable. |

So, back in the day, the drafts happened on one night, and they were pretty much permanent until the next draft, and there was some build-up and some consequences. I quite enjoyed the trade angle between Bischoff and Stephanie in 2002 as well. Today, shit just happens for no reason. The B-Team were moved to SD yesterday. No angle, or even an announcement, just their profile changing on the website. No wonder the fans are giving up, they lasted a lot longer than Vince's ability to create compelling wrestling. |

Change it up 2 times a year, after WM and after SummerSlam, but don't announce it. Keep them off TV for a couple weeks when they're winding down on 1 brand, build them up as coming in on the other. You don't have to do it with the whole roster, but you have 3 brands that you could rotate a 1/3 of each roster through if done properly. Guys that get stuck in the mid card can go to NXT for 6 months and redevelop themselves. You can get different PPV matchups every few months to keep things from getting stale. |

It's like when they went live on the Monday night of the draft, they simply weren't ready and didn't know who was moving yet. You have Vince, who is old and has clearly lost a few steps in the mental capacity department, insisting on micromanaging every little thing while also being spread too thin with business decisions and the XFL and other shit. He just can't do it anymore. It must be an absolute nightmare to get anything done there. I've been driven to fits at work over the years with supervisors who weren't 25% as bad as this.
