He got kicked in the head by Kofi Kingston at Mania and hasn't been seen or heard from (no social media) since. He has been pulled from all Smackdown events. He's currently at home, with what is presumed to be a concussion.

That sucks. Hope he gets well. Might be time to hang it up.

Bryan does an incredible job whether as a face or as a heel. I hope that he can just take time off and come back at a later date.

If it's true that he is concussed and he did in fact suffer it against Kofi this is complete bullshit. These guys are both seasoned professionals. They couldn't work a match that would contain absolutely nothing that would put Bryan in danger? It's bullshit if Bryan told Kofi to go all out and compromise his own health or it's bullshit if Kofi fucked up and let an errant kick fly. Anyway, I hope the guy is alright.

Bryan could probably get a concussion in a pillow fight at this point. It’s no one’s fault. He just shouldn’t be in the ring anymore.

Maybe so, but WongLee is right. They could of had a great match without any kicks to the head, even if they are Kofi's bread n' butter spots. They should of worked smarter than that.

It's crazy how many finishers are blows to the head, given concussion concerns. Seems like nearly everyone has a punch, kick, knee, or drop variation. Bryan is one of the few who doesn't.

There is no such thing as a match that wouldn't put Bryan or anyone at danger for that matter. Every match is dangerous.
Accidents happen. Settle down.

Did any of you think he may just be out of contract and/or was due for an extended break? WWE has advertised talent that they knew was going to be unavailable many times in the past - and we never really heard anything about Bryan going forward past this. I am thinking we are all worrying about a non-situation.

I am thinking we are all worrying about a non-situation.PWInsider reported that he has an undisclosed injury from Mania and that WWE is monitoring it very closely. So I guess we have to wait and see. I hope you're right though.

Per the Wrestling Observer, Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to in ring action.
