A Mexican Showdown with no blood and no finish? The Bull must really have disliked Mil because he would bleed if a four year old finger poked him.

Manny and Mil were two of the hardest guys for anyone to get along with.  I can just imagine the clash of egos that night.  I'm surprised anyone even agreed to take a bump.

I'll take the other side. I like it. New moves every match. Shows  that he was always working on improving, etc.

People complain that he didn't like to lose or didn't 'sell' that great but you could say that about 100 'old school' guys.

If you're judging on a curve maybe, but for the day there were really only a handful that have that rep.  Brody, Abby, and Mascaras were near the top of that list, and of the 3 Mascaras far and away was less of a draw anywhere in the world (other than Mexico).  I never heard of anyone in America or Japan being truly excited to see Mascaras, even though he was always hyped as a huge deal.  When did he ever pop a territory?

I think he was a draw. New York. Apter mags. Japan. Mexico. Texas.

He had a role similar to Dusty Rhodes in the WWWF. Good guy from the outside, maybe team w Andre and get revenge on the bad guys.

Mascaras was HUGE in Japan, more so than in Mexico.
