The same night that Jericho gets his IWGP World title shot against Okada. It looks like Moxley vs. Juice Robinson.

NJPW is denying that they have any working agreement with AEW and says the deal that will bring in Moxley was negotiated independently with him and his AEW contract allows him to work Japan.

Jon Moxley has defeated Juice Robinson for the IWGP U.S. title in his NJPW debut.  This was said to be a really good 25-minute match.

I think I made a mistake and that match is still a few days away.

This is interesting having a AEW talent work NJPW and NJPW working with ROH. Does ROH acknowledge the loss? Regardless everyone knows.

Does ROH acknowledge what loss?  The loss of The Elite?  I'm up to January in my ROH watching so this is basically the reboot period.  On the first episode of TV, Matt Taven makes fun of Flip Gordon and Marty Scurll for losing all their friends.  Taven had a funny line that "You have to be this high to catch the shuttle bus to Jacksonville" and Scurll was too short.  Cody and the Bucks are periodically mentioned throughout the month as part of recent history, but then again barely a show goes by where Bryan Danielson and Tyler Black aren't still referenced.  ROH isn't the type of company that is going to ignore its history when someone leaves.  But they're not dwelling on it either.  They basically turned half the roster over and I'm looking forward to seeing how the new stuff, like PCO, Brody King, Tracy Williams, and Mark Haskins, get over.

Jon Moxley's AEW contract allows him to compete in Japan, but not on TV in the U.S.  So obviously he would not be able to be part of any NJPW-ROH cross-over shows on DVD, streaming, or PPV, although I think he could technically work a special attraction dark match just for the live audience.  But he won't.  I'm sure he'll drop the belt soon anyway and won't become a regular.  This was just a little treat to get Moxley hot ahead of his AEW run and pop some numbers for NJPW.  A win-win.

I'm sure they'll mention it.

Here's the full Dominion card with Okada vs. Jericho, scheduled for Sunday.  They've positioned Moxley in basically a squash match against a dojo student on this one.

*IWGP Champion Kazuchika Okada vs. Chris Jericho.

*IWGP Intercontinental Champion Kota Ibushi vs. Tetsuya Naito.

*Never Openweight Champion Taichi vs. Tomohiro Ishii.

*IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay vs. Dragon Lee.

*IWGP Tag Team Champions The Guerrillas of Destiny vs. EVIL and SANADA.

*Chase Owens & Jay White & Taiji Ishimori vs. Juice Robinson & Hiroshi Tanahashi & Rysuke Taguchi.

*Jushin Liger & YOSHI-HASHI vs. Minoru Suzuki & Zack Sabre Jr.

*Satoshi Kojima vs. Shingo Takagi.

*Jon Moxley vs. Shoto Umino.

I think Naito becomes IC title holder again.
Ospreay beats Lee
Evil & Sanada beat G.O.D.
Moxley against Red Shoes kid, LOL!!

The Best Of The Super Juniors Finals card yesterday morning was as good of a wrestling card top to bottom that you will find. I HIGHLY recommend you all seek this show out and watch it. "Dominion" on Sunday morning is set to be a killer card also.

Shingo and Ospreay brought it. One of the best matches I've ever seen.

Moxley went all out also as did Juice. Could of done without Moxley dragging the tables out from under the ring. I'm kind of tired of that spot to be honest. I don't mind the use of the announce tables, chairs, etc, but I hate when they fill the underneath of the ring with props. That's just me though.

The Tanahashi verses Jay White match told a great story also.

You really cannot beat New Japan these days as far as the in ring product and the story telling that goes along with it.

Tomorrow on AXS TV, they will have a 2-hour special airing the Juniors finals, Moxley’s title win, and the Tanahashi-White match.
