So, before the main event, Goldberg psyched himself up by headbutting a door, as he always does. He's a 52-year-old man now, and that headbutt game him a concussion. This caused him to fuck up a turnbuckle spot and he ended up bleeding heavily. He got so loopy that he couldn't do anything properly, and it was very lucky that neither he, nor his 54-year-old opponent received a broken neck. Then he collapsed after the match (see video). I'm looking forward to more dream matches from this Saudi deal. Sting vs Undertaker, Sting vs Michaels. All the matches I wanted to see in 1996.

I assumed he got the concussion from the turnbuckle spot, not headbutting the door. So ridiculous.

When Undertaker left his hat and coat in the ring after losing to Roman Reigns at Mania a couple of years ago, that should have been it. He was really good right through WM29 with the match against Punk, but by the next year against Brock and then in his bouts with Shane and Roman showed he had nothing left. That act of retiring would have allowed him to go out with some dignity. Now he's washed up and instead of looking forward to seeing him, I worry for his safety and the safety of his opponent while not wanting to see his legacy tarnished more. As for Bill Goldberg, he was respectable during his WWE comeback a few years ago, but time is also his enemy and he should not be in there without someone who can carry him which Taker cannot do at this stage of the game.

I saw a still pic of the tombstone where it looked like Goldberg's head hit the mat and his neck was bending.  Perhaps the initial head blow effected his ability to hang on like he was supposed to, and perhaps Undertaker may not have had the strength to hoist him up high enough at that point in the match.  I suspect none of that is good on a 50+ year old body.

Goldberg didn’t get a concussion before the match. He was FINE the entire match and looked and worked pretty damned good UNTIL that shoulder block into the corner where he really started to bleed, it was obvious that’s where the concussion happened. He was totally out of it after that and it was pretty obvious he had no idea what he was doing from then on..

I'm kind of stunned several over at PWO have shouted praise for this bout.

With the corner botch and the piledriver drop, he could've suffered multiple concussions.
