That man needs a raise; the champ eating at longhorn? For shame

Wrestlers usually eat at Waffle Houses and Cracker Barrels. This is fine dining.
Back in the day, a couple cans of tuna and a 5 pound bag of taters. Hell,  McDonald's was fine dining up until the mid 1980's.

Ted Dibiase talked about "bologna blowouts" in one of his books. Someone would stop at a 7-Eleven or supermarket and get a loaf of bread, a pack of Oscar Mayer bologna and a case of beer (pre-open container law).
The bologna blowouts are definitely a pro wrestling tradition. One of the best ever things about CAC, but I heard they ended it? I haven't been in 6 years due to health reasons.

My all-time favorite cheapskate is probably Angelo "The Miser" Poffo. Supposedly, he would go into waffle houses and low end restaurants. He would simply order a free water in a tall cup, then take ketchup packets and the free saltine crackers at the salad bar (well, free if you actually ordered a salad), add everything together, and make tomato soup. I've heard this story from various people over the years, and I don't think it was part of his gimmick. He didn't start going by "The Miser" character until late in his career.

Sounds like these guys would have been better off working at the waffle house

Reading social media posts not only makes me question my being a wrestling fan, but also makes me understand how come there are so many people struggling to keep their minimum wage jobs...there are some really dumb people in this world and that’s being kind.

But I did get one good laugh just now on a Jericho post about having the AEW belt stolen. Some guy posted: “Rikishi stole the belt - he did it for The Rock”. And I don’t know why but I popped like hell for that line.

I have one Facebook friend who shares wrestling newz stories.  It's my only link to wrestling on social media.  So whenever I am at my lowest point of despair in reading comments about politics and wondering how people could be so dumb, I read of the comments on wrestling and suddenly I understand.

Brandi tweeted some video of the new Women's belt.  Very different look, much more slender.  I like it.  Just don't give it to Jericho.

Do police reports of petty theft really make their way to the internets? You're all being worked, you sad marks.

Even stolen replica belts make the news sometimes:

Another one I heard about Angelo Poffo was he'd go to a diner or lunch counter, order something like a cup of coffee or whatever and then as people finished their food and left, he'd raid their plates for leftover food before they could be bused out.

This was not at all uncommon for people from his generation, although of course he had money by this time.  The "meal" was very well known from the Depression era though.  People used to go into automats when they were all the rage, the first fast food places, and do this same exact thing all the time.  If they had nowhere else to go, they'd practically live in the automats and eat this all day.

AEW has thanked the Tallahassee Police Dept. for locating the belt.  They posted a pic with one of the cops holding it.  It wasn't a work.

As if Tallahassee was the name of a real place! Next you'll be telling me Parts Unknown, Truth or Consequences NM and Rio de Janeiro are real places as well.

I didn't catch it live, but Corey Graves trolled Jericho last night on SD!  After Drake Maverick pinned Bo Dallas to regain the 24/7 title, Graves said, "I'm sure Drake's gonna grab his wife and take a limousine to a chain restaurant."

Corey Graves needs to remember that he can’t take any more shots to the head before he speaks, because someday he’s gonna piss off the wrong person with his mouth.

Vince is too out of touch to get any of Corey Graves' references, but someone could always stooge him off I guess.
