That was phenomenal. Best promo segment of the year, surpassing only a previous Jericho promo in AEW. MJF is a star.

That was a really fun show. One of the best episodes of AEW top to bottom with some different names getting a chance to be highlighted.

I did not like the Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega PPV match. It went too long and that kind of garbage wrestling does not appeal to me. I also feel like they went to the gimmick match too soon and leave themselves nowhere to go with this feud from here, assuming it goes on.

I agree. Moxley is really killing it right now with his new attitude, but I think he needs to get away from that garbage style. It seems like every match he's had since leaving WWE he has had a table spot (and not announce table, which I would be okay with). I hate when guys get in a match and start looking under the apron for tables, ladders and other garbage.

There is just something off with the overall psychology of how he is putting his matches and angles together. It was the same thing with the last ppv match he had with Joey Janela. That style of match has been played out for almost 20 years. He should just stick to the rough and tumble, Stan Hansen, Vader, Bruiser Brody, Steve Austin shtick. A chair, announce/timekeepers table and ring bell should be enough. Leave that "outlaw mud show" garbage shit to Ian Rotten and company in Bumblefuck, Indiana. :-))

Everything I’ve heard is that Moxley is basically booking himself and just really, really wants to get back to the crazy shit he did in CZW and even top it. This is what he’s been craving for years and now he’s free to do it. He wanted Lesnar to do some of this shit with him at WM to make that a memorable match and Lesnar had no interest in doing anything but the bare minimum even if it was Moxley taking the bumps. This is just his mindset and why he left WWE. He’s not the guy who’s going to take his money and be happy. He’s a different kind of guy. Reading Renee Young’s tweets during his matches is a little fun and a little sad because she’s totally freaking out and everyone knows he’s putting his quality of life in jeopardy when he doesn’t need to in order to get over.

I loved the MJF promo this week. Phenomenal. Not a fan of the little boy and the tranny though. I think Jericho is gaining 5 pounds every week.

The problem I have with all that is if Moxley was concerned with the money anymore and all that nonesense why didn't he go work for CZW, Ian Rotten(joking), Big Japan, or some wrestling company that specializes in garbage wrestling. We'll see how hardcore he is.

If she was that concerned during his matches, why is she tweeting during them?(again just joking). I don't blame her for freaking out, she probably doesn't want her husband looking like a burn victim and talking and drooling like a dummy five years after leaving the WWE.

The more AEW keeps going, the more I think Tony Khan is a bigger mark than I thought. I'm liking AEW now, but I'm concerned for the future if he starts letting the inmates run the asylum too much.

If you want to do garbage wrestling, AEW is the best place to do it. You get paid, the crowd is big, you get a week until your next match, and you only have to do one garbage match a month at the very, very most. It's not like he's Jun Kasai doing the most grotesque matches for 20 years and looking like a carnival freak, or wrestling for CZW in a field in Deleware where there are more people on the card than in the crowd.

I agree, I was just referencing what rossi said he heard about Moxley wanting to top the crazy shit he did back in CZW.

Very good number for AEW and those viewers got to see a good show.

I wonder how many WWE fans are just choosing to continue to watch NXT on WWE Network on delay rather than on USA live. The NXT numbers on USA are actually really disappointing, and those numbers are with WWE crossover and Survivor Series build.

In 2019, I don't think people are choosing which show to watch, but just how and when. Going head to head was not the best move. NXT is much easier to watch at your leisure, so more people will watch AEW live. If they weren't going head to head, both shows would be drawing 1.5M.
