Many on here already know my opinion on people only using stats to determine or make an opinion of who does or does not belong in the HOF.   Cliff Branch should be in the HOF.

This coming from a die-hard Stillers fan.

He has stats similar or better than guys like Stallworth, Swann, Warfield but can't get any love.

Ridiculous.
Plus, he played big in big games.

If he played for the Cowboys or a Northeastern team, he woulda been in the HOF 25 years ago.

It did take a while for Stallworth and Swann to get in, though.

He belongs. He lacks that spectacular catch in a high profile game I guess.

"#21. Speed Kills"

Back in the early 90's sports card collecting craze, there was a local show that featured Cliff Branch signing autographs for 5 bucks on a Sunday. I had to work, but got my brother to go for me.

Big Bro wasn't into collecting...but he showed up, early, and there were only a few people in line to see Cliff Branch. NFL games were on, at the place, so my brother got to hang out with Cliff and watch football for about half-an-hour until the crowd picked up.

A great receiver. Should have been in the Hall ages ago.
