Should you do good things because they are acts of kindness, or to get publicity?

I do things because I want to do them I can’t speak for him.

Regardless picking up 50 tons of trash is some good work and the city, county and state should recognize him and his group because a lot of people had failed to get it done.

I agree with this....Who cares if it was political touchdowns he was looking for, he got the job done. No debating about it, voting on it, paying for some private company to conduct an "environmental assessment" on it. He went out and did it, up, plain, plump and simple. Good on him and the volunteers who did this.
