Have the match start as normal between Kofi and Brock.  Use the same opening salvo, but have Kingston kick out in time.  Then have Brock pummel the champ for a bit, but can't secure the pin.  Kofi gets in some offense, but Brock takes him to Suplex City and one more F-5, then cover.  Just as he lays on top of Kingston, Rey's music hits and out comes Mysterio.  Brock gets up and see him on the top of the ramp.  He gets up and goes to the ropes and messages Rey to come fight him.  Then as Mysterio walks towards the ring, Lesnar exits the squared circle and heads for the former champ.

But before Brock gets close, out of the crowd comes Valesquez and attacks the Beast Incarnate!  Ref calls for the bell and Kofi retains.  Cain and Brock brawl until refs and security come pull them apart.  The show ends as Lesnar is shocked at Cain's appearance.
As stated, this feud doesn't need to have the title on Brock to work.

Your version would have been much better.

FOX wants Lesnar on the show and with the belt, and as you can see by that abomination of a show they also want mainstream athletes on it. Tyson Fury was totally allowed to jump the rail, or else both WWE wouldn’t have shown it AND security would have beat him down to the ground and cuffed him.

Your booking is great. However, if Cain was going to attack from the crowd, I would have left Lesnar in the ring and had Cain come up from behind. But leave it to WWE - they didn’t even think that their fan base would know who Cain is or else they’d have had him come out alone.

I would’ve bet money that Cain was going to be with AEW. But it shows how panicked Vince is and he’s going to sign everything and everyone that he can. Daniel Cormier will be at Wrestlemania if he finishes up with Stipe before then, mark my words.

Definitely. Brock as a special attraction is fine, but I lose all interest when he has the belt.

For what it's worth, I had no idea who Cain Valesquez was. If you told me the name I probably knew he was a UFC guy, but I didn't know he'd beaten Lesnar and I had zero idea what he looked like.

I wonder how much his physique will change while he's working in WWE?

I'm surprised Vince let Cain's "Brown Power" tattoo go.

The funny thing is that Cain has been training for AAA while negotiating with both WWE and AEW all this time, and you’d think he’d be on the juice to get himself into cosmetic shape since his MMA days seem behind him. Meltzer is acting like Cain’s agent and is all over Twitter defending his appearance and ensuring everyone that he’s in better cardio shape than anyone on the WWE roster.

I wouldn't be surprised if 70 year  old Bob Backlund is in better cardio shape than Cain.

The official viewership for SD! came in at 3,888,000, with the opening segment with The Rock being the highest rated quarter hour with over 4 million.

Cain has officially been removed from the USADA testing pool, meaning that he can get on the ‘roids now since WWE certainly won’t test him either.

Cain looked exactly like that when he kicked Brocks ass in less than a round in real life

Is this actually "thebear", or did somebody hack his account? You've been hibernating for a number of years there, Mr. Bear. It's good to see you posting again.
