[size=These are some pretty crazy lines this week. Jax favored over the Saints? WTF. Seattle only favored by 1.5, really? They are gonna whip Cleveland. Atlanta favored over Atlanta...wait a minute? Oh, I see beej made this post at 12:28 am. Nevermind.![]() |

I fear the Eagles against the Vikings and think the game could away from the Vikes early if the offense doesn't click and Kirk Cousins gets rattled. How did Kirk do against the Eagles while he was QB for the Redskins? Was there any discernible pattern of good or bad performances? Speaking of the Redskins, Jay Gruden got fired now because not only did Snyder and Allen not want to wait for him to possibly lose to the Dolphins before pulling the plug, after which the Skins might not win again until playing the Jets in week 11 coming off the bye, but I think they worried that a win over Miami might solidify Gruden's position enough to make firing him somehow more difficult. If nothing else, calling the guy to be there at 5:00 AM to axe him seemed cruel. I get that they wanted it done before anyone else got to Redskins HQ to start practicing and getting ready for Miami, but why not do it the evening before? |

For those of you who are football smart or know me, I believe in putting salary cap money in the OL and not RB. That way, your QB and cheap RBs can flourish. That is the Niners way of doing things, and they proved that true the first 4 weeks. But now they have BOTH starting O tackles and their All Pro blocking fullback out injured for 8 weeks. That is what happens when you literally have a curse. I just can't Fuckin believe how injury cursed this bitch team is. I mean BOTH FUCKIN TACKLES OUT FOR 8 WEEKS, which means 12 weeks minimum since the Niners medical staff is incompetent. FUCK YOU. I'M SICK OF THIS BROKE DICK SHIT! |

I apologize for my rant last night. It wasn't meant to anyone here obviously. It just sucks to see a team you've loved for 40 years to be knocked out by injuries every single season. |

Joe Buck has the (football) IQ of a house plant. He's light years smarter than Pat Summerall and Jim Nance, but still makes the most ridiculous calls and is almost always wrong on his first down calls, ala Summerall and dipshit Nance. Last edited on Fri Oct 11th, 2019 03:38 am by Heenan Fan |

I also think there is something going on with him and it is not age just yet. The funny thing about Brady and the Pats is that they over-exaggerate some minor injury or “phantom” injury and then downplay and require a top secret clearance a legitimate injury. Brady looked better in Week 1. Last edited on Fri Oct 11th, 2019 01:14 pm by Papa Voo |

Benlen wrote: Brady showing his age or Giants playing over their heads? Brady looks awful. It was a little of both. Giants have 3-4 decent players on defense, and a lot of rookies playing. They all happened to make plays last night. The rest of the defense, meh. I was surprised they were in position to tie the game in the 4th. I really thought it was going to be a squash from the start, especially since 75% of their offense was out with injuries. I thought Jones hung in there well. He's making mistakes you'd expect a rookie to make, but he's at least giving you that little bit of hope that he'll turn out to be a good QB. I don't like what I see out of Shurmur at all though. Should've went for it on 4th and 2, down 14, with 7:30 to go. He punts, the defense is gassed from being on the field for 35 min at that point, and they give up a TD anyway. |

I rarely watch Patriot games but I have never seen Brady sack so much. Must have a weak o-line this year. |

Panthers on a 4 game winning streak..they're gonna have a real issue in a few weeks when Cam is healed up and ready to come back..I personally think he still has a lot left for the team if he's actually healthy but I don't see how you can stick him back in when Allen is winning like this.. |

It is not a big deal in my opinion if you are Cam and you see the schedule you wait, if he proves himself in the next there games it is over for you this season, but if he struggles you will be back and with open arms too only thing we know is Kyle Allen is a better qb than an injured Cam Newton. Panthers next three games(49ers,Packers,Saints) after the bye , so if you are Cam and his team just get sit back and don't say a word or cause a distraction and let the schedule try to work for you Last edited on Mon Oct 14th, 2019 04:12 pm by krazykid18 |

It was nice to see the Vikings get a win when they needed it. They're 4-2 and can rise to 5-2 if they win at Detroit in a game that will by no means be easy, but is certainly winnable. I attended the win over the Eagles and it was interesting to look at the away fans and discern who was a Minnesota local who was a TV fan of the Eagles, who was from North Dakota and rooted for the Eagles because of Carson Wentz, and who came in from Philadelphia. The first two could be a little harder to tell apart, but a lot of the North Dakotans were wearing Wentz jerseys or otherwise had North Dakota State gear mixed with their Eagles gear. As for the Philly fly ins, there was a certain Northeastern swagger that isn't common here, at least not in that form, and they tended to wear gear that looked older and more worn, not to mention much more kelly green Eagles stuff as opposed to the midnight green. There was a large contingent of fly in fans in the top level at the East end zone. They made a lot of noise early and during the comeback, but when the Vikings were laying in the boots early and then closing down the game late, they quieted down and then bolted early. |

The Walker hit on Allison was 100% clean. Walker was clearly playing the ball. |

I agree about that Walker hit on Allison. I also think the Lions got jobbed a bit by the refs. However, those things tend to even themselves out eventually. Like Aaron Rodgers was talking about "karma"- I didn't get the context of his interview, just heard a snippet on the radio. Another point is the Lions inability to finish drives. Prater's 5 FGs is evidence of stalled out drives. |
