They’re only in year 2 of a 10 year deal with Saudi Arabia so they’re set for a while. Something really bad is going to happen with that country before that deal expires though, something even worse than already has, and then WWE will have really tough decisions to make. But they’re so flush with money for the next few years that it’s really tough for them to take to heart the fact that their product sucks so badly and their fanbase has eroded so much. I’ve never seen such an inverse relationship between financial success and creative disaster.

WWE.com posted the following additional roster moves were made in the 2019 Draft:

Night 1 of the WWE Draft is in the books, but the picks are far from over.

Raw and SmackDown continued their selections, with Apollo Crews among SmackDown’s draft picks, while Raw’s choices included EC3.

SmackDown also added former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak, Heath Slater and Tamina, and added to its Tag Team division with The B-Team.

Additional picks for Raw included Eric Young and Sin Cara.

Night 1 of the WWE Draft was highlighted by the red brand’s selection of Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch first overall, while SmackDown took Roman Reigns with its first pick.

The Man will kick off Night 2 of the draft on Raw when she takes on Sasha Banks — who was selected by SmackDown on Friday — with Monday night’s first selection on the line.

Additional WWE Draft picks
Apollo Crews — SmackDown
Drew Gulak — SmackDown
EC3 — Raw
Eric Young — Raw
Heath Slater — SmackDown
Sin Cara — Raw
Tamina — SmackDown
The B-Team — SmackDown

I think Cesaro was in this first group. Does this mean he is going to NXT UK? Would be a good idea.

They might have just as well drafted EC3 to Main Event.

I said this ages ago. Cesaro would really be revitalized there and if might get me watching that show again. Cesaro vs. WALTER, sign me up.

For me it's not so much with the characters they have, it is how they are booked. These mega money Saudi and TV deals are not forever. They will have to negotiate new deals again in a couple years. I cannot see them getting that kind of money again with things continuing to trend downwards.

Yes the WWE is making more money than ever before, but I don't think Vince is content with that. If he was then we wouldn't be hearing about him changing the RAW and SD formats right up until the shows air. He wouldn't have hired Heyman, Bischoff and Prichard. He wouldn't have shuffled writers from one brand to the other. He is trying to improve things, but it just isn't working. I think the entire WWE creative department needs an overhaul, starting at with him.

I hated the WCW Russo era reset deal where they stripped the titles but the E needs to do some type of a gradual reset. Purge the company of the dead weight and use the surplus of NXT and PC talent to freshen the main shows. AEW, ROH, MLW, NJPW, etc can’t sign everyone to long Term deal if they do a major purge at least not for long without cutting some of their own talent.

I also think they need to start bringing talent in that never touch NXT: NXT is great but I think it over exposes people before they make the main roster

Cesaro has been announced to face Mansoor at Crown Jewel. I've enjoyed Mansor's push since he won the battle royal. Should be a great match.

Mansoor is already better than The Undertaker. He wrestles 2 matches a year in front of 80,000 fans only. Put him in the HOF.

She’s been hurt since HIAC. Back injury I heard.

That sucks, but they should have known about that injury before they booked this match.  Seems a bit odd....  Didn't she go home "unhappy" after Wrestlemania for a few months?

I’m not watching Raw yet so not sure what was announced but she’s been out since HIAC and there was no reason for them to expect her to be cleared tonight. So that’s weird.

And yes, she walked out after WM and just came back.

Is Steph pregnant? The angles they show her from (mostly behind) seemingly look like she is either with child or just has a hugely large arse IMHO.
