In the wake of Dragon Lee and Rush having been fired from CMLL two weeks ago, the promotion has reached out to other promotions interested in using them for shows and are ordering them to not have them on their tv or cards or else CMLL will not send guys for their shows. They already sent a message to The Crash promotion telling them not to use them for their show last week, The Crash refused them and CMLL responded by pulling four wrestlers from the show.

Dragon Lee was to be part of the Super Junior Tag Tournament starting next week, to be teaming with Titan as posters were released with him on it but is now replaced with Volador. Rush is the current ROH World Champ and Lee is slated to return to it next month.

A bullying tactic done by CMLL and one that could come back to bite them as talent could be missing out on a lot of money not being able to do shows because of what's going on. Nothing knew in the wrestling business I guess.

This is pretty much the CMLL playbook. It is absolutely nothing new for the company to tell promoters that using guys on the enemies list would mean losing out on booking CMLL guys. Konnan was put on the enemies list in 1992 for jumping to AAA when that promotion formed while he was CMLL's top technico. To this day he has never been forgiven. When CMLL was using Rey, Juvi, and Nicho (Psychosis from WCW who couldn't use the name in Mexico because AAA owned the gimmick in that country) in 2001 and 2002 after WCW closed down, one night they brought Konnan with them to Arena Mexico in the hope of mending fences and getting their friend work there. Konnan was immediately booted out of the arena with the warning to not return. When Konnan started wrestling again in Mexico around that time but had not yet reconciled with Antonio Pena and AAA, CMLL would not let any of its affiliated local promoters book him with the understanding that doing so would mean losing out on CMLL guys for an indefinite period.

To this day CMLL talent is not suppose to appear on shows with El Hijo del Santo and Konnan.

It has happened here or there I'm sure.

There was a time when AAA would have the same issues. So it's not a CMLL thing, it's a Mexico thing. Wrestling in Mexico is as much political as it is here in the states. Certain wrestlers won't appear on shows as other wrestlers.
