The heights given on various guys' wiki pages seem to be all worked. Chris Jericho is not 6'0.
I'd like to know Hogan at his peak, Scott Hall, Angle, HHH, Austin, Batista, etc.

Hogan has stood next to guys whose semi-legit heights are known (Shaq, Rodman, even Howard Stern) and from that I think people can make a pretty good guess.  The NBA does exaggerate too.

I can't stand (no pun intended) Hogan, but in his defense, Hogan could probably be in the Guinness Book Of World Records as far as shrinkage. Seriously. With both age and all his back surgeries. I have a pic of a fully grown me and Hulk from 1989 and he towers over me. I also have a pic of me and Hulk from 2011 and he's maybe 2 inches taller than me at best. I'm 5'11.

Also, I once was in an elevator at CAC with Greg Valentine and Big Van Vader. Valentine is known as a good worker, but short. Vader is known as a big monster. Greg Valentine and Leon White were the exact same height! No bullshit. Valentine comes across on Tv as short, and Vader wore lifts in his boots when on TV. I couldn't believe my own eyes, but those two were the same height. This was in 2002 or 2003.

Interesting, do you think you could gauge how much taller is was than you in '89. I was next to him in '87, but I was only 13 at the time. I remember Bret Hart leaving the arena one night and I was standing in the area where the wrestlers exit. He was kinda hunched over, trying not to be conspicuous. But I was WAY taller than him. I am 6'4", I don't know if he was 6'0". Lol at Bret, he wasn't in the main event that night and fucked right off after his match with...oh what's his name, the Japanese dude that had those logogram kanji characters "tattooed" all over him.
A lot of those wrestlers were not as tall as the announcers played them up to be, but they were some big f'ing dudes.
I was next El Gigante one night and OMG, he's legit huge.

I've always heard Andre was more like 6'11 or 7 foot while Hogan was closer to 6-5 or 6-6 than to the billed 6-8.

Hogan was a legit 6'5" in the '80s. Scott Hall was taller, and Nash was legit 6'10". And as far as Big Show goes, all the claims of 7'+ were proven to be bullshit when he faced off with Shaq a couple of times and Shaq was almost half a head taller than him.

One guy that I'd love to know the true height of was Brian Adams - Crush. I saw him in the early '90s at a local event when he was in his Kona gimmick, and we were sitting at an ice rink in the stands first row, about four feet above the floor, and when he came in he looked me in the eye as he was as tall as the railing and then some. Macho Man was there and he looked like he was smaller than the cops that were working the door.

I'm saying Angle is 5-10 or 5-11 at best even before his neck issues.

On his Olympic Games profile, Kurt Angle is listed as 5-10. I'd say that's legit.

I took a picture with the Pitbulls. Around 97-98. I was 17-18, and about 6'3". I had to almost take a knee to get eye to eye.

I've done a ton of photo ops over the years. Not with the more modern real big guys but I am taller than way more of the guys from my childhood (70's/80's) than I ever would have thought.
