They just announced that NXT will be involved in Survivor Series. This doesn't excite me one bit. I'm actually worried because it puts NXT closer to Vince.

I can't wait for Lesnar to F5 Adam Cole from the ring halfway up the entrance ramp.

They had to do something a little different since they used some of their typical Survivor Series ideas at this Crown Jewel show.

They might be able to pull off Survicor Series if Triple H is allowed to book the build up. For the live crowds, NXT are the baby faces and Raw and SmackDown are the heels. If they try to go in any other direction, the show will bomb.

Last night's SD was really entertaining, apart from that goof McAfee. Aiden English with his Fozzy Bear voice is also a bust as a commentator.

I liked McAfee. He brings a very different and unpolished voice which is refreshing. He’d never survive 3 seconds with Vince in his ear, and that’s a good thing.

Explain this to me. Why was he going on as if NXT was his team? He was even in the ring at the end. He has nothing to do with NXT. I'm 99% sure he's never even been seen on NXT, except maybe for a TakeOver pre-show, which does not count. His gimmick is that he wears shorts. He's a fucking goober.

He does the NXT pre-shows.  I would assume that Mauro Ranallo was not available on short notice or they didn't want to use him.  But given the way everyone is paid by WWE but every year come Survivor Series they have to pretend for 3 weeks to hate each other despite working together the week before and the week after, this isn't the type of nonsense I concern myself with.  I just thought thought McAfee brought a better energy to the announce table than usual.

Given that they seem to be building to a Rusev v Lashley match on this card, this seems to be as good a place as any.

A few weeks ago, Rusev was coming out as the father of Maria Kanellis' sprog, and the announcers are all "poor Lana".

Now, on Raw, Lana is the heel, and Rusev denies that he has cheated on Lana, and that it is all Lashley's lying.

Um, what?

The NXT part of the build for Survivor Series has been very good, especially when you think that they are also building towards their own WarGames show on the same weekend. Clearly Triple H is booking this across all three brands, and if they don't fuck it up (not holding my breath) then this could be the start of something very good. I'm still worried that Vince will make a late call for all the NXT guys to lose at Survivor Series, though (he killed the Nexus at a Survivor Series with a late call to change the finish).

From reading the spoilers for Raw.... they are clearly, and predictably, going to fuck this up.

I do not enjoy triple threat matches.  Wikipedia seems to think there will be a whole bunch of them.  Yay.

I don't mind tag team elimination matches. By the rules, anyway, it's still only two legal men in the ring at one time. Elimination because I hate the losing without being pinned bullshit.

Singles matches are fine if you get past the disappearing wrestler problem.

However, I think most three way matches suffer from bad booking more that bad match layout.
