Is anything really must see anymore in an IG or Social media era, where if i follow wrestling i can see a recap of a hot fued or moment seconds after it happened depending on what IG page i am following.....
i was at RAW last night in Long Island and most of the wrestlers don't look like stars or must see and that has to change with the exception of the fiend  none of the other post 2010 WWE superstars come across as wow in person like Hulk Hogan did

If you're a wrestling fan, there still should be some things that are must-see and you want to watch unfold live.  Unless you're completely jaded and have given up on the whole business, at which point why even watch the highlights?

There have been quite a few must-see moments in recent years in NXT, particularly almost everything involving Gargano and Ciampa.  It's still possible to draw me in.  But the last time WWE did anything that interesting was when Nexus was created, and before that maybe CM Punk's pipebomb promo.

And ROH is in the same boat for me now because I know almost every match will be reasonably good and get time, but I have little desire to see a 20-minute Mark Haskins vs. P.J. Black match, especially when it's the 5th match on the show exactly like that.  Every once in a while give me a fucking riot like when Homicide and his crew ran through the crowd and attacked everyone.

The pipebomb promo was a year after the Nexus angle. I think Punk was still the leader of the Nexus the week before the promo.

Not that it changes anything. Those were maybe the last two times that WWE did anything that was Holy Shit on main roster. Wrestling needs some chaos to make it interesting. The NXT invasion of SmackDown came close last week, but being WWE, they managed to not quite get it right, and what could have been a 10/10 show was only 8/10.

Sinclair is airing ROH Friday nights at midnight or 1am local time on the Fox Sports regional networks, which they now own part of.

BJ Whitmer said today that Kelly Klein, who is still the reigning ROH Women’s champion, was fired this week while still suffering from post concussion syndrome. ROH countered that she was not fired but she was informed that her contract would not be renewed when it expires on Dec. 31. With the issues that both sides have had and Klein claiming injury, it’s unlikely that she will return to drop the title at Final Battle or any other show. The women’s division was almost entirely built around Klein for years, so ROH might just put it on hiatus for a while.

A really negative story about all this and more has hit Newsweek, so ROH really needs to get ahead of this story and make some changes ASAP. 2019 has been the worst year for this company since the Rob Feinstein scandal.

Joey Mercury continues to bury ROH by sharing private texts. In the latest batch, Flip Gordon screen shots a Ticketmaster screen showing tons of available seats and tells him it’s “fucking embarrassing” that ROH is running bigger venues with no one there. Mercury sends this to Greg Gilleland who replies that he should ask Flip why he can’t draw. He then says he doesn’t pay the talent what he does to run tiny venues. There’s then a conversation about if they should’ve put the belt on Scurll instead of Taven at the MSG show. Gilleland says they haven’t been able to get Taven over but they didn’t want Scurll to leave (for AEW) and they knew they had a better chance of re-signing Taven.

None of this is all that crazy but Mercury is trying to make it seem like Gilleland is Hitler because of the types of comments that are made behind closed doors every day in every business. Mercury is a dick for sharing all this and shouldn’t be hired by a Pizza Hut much less another wrestling company ever again.

BJ Whitmer has announced that he is divorcing Kelly Klein for cheating on him. What a mess these two have been in the last year.

Was her cheating linked to Post concussion symptoms?

And the person she was cheating with...Joey Mercury. Wow, everything makes sense now. Meltzer is reporting that Mercury had a plan to shoot manage a stable of ROH wrestlers and wanted the entire group to leave and pit WWE against AEW in a bidding war. He thought eventually they'd all wind up in WWE making more money and ROH would be destroyed. Whitmer was buying it all until he realized his wife was fucking this guy. Pretty much everything Mercury said now has to be considered bullshit, although I’m sure there are grains of truth here and there. What a piece of shit.
