A junkyard dog was a very popular UWF and WWF wrestler known for being the Intercontinental champion as well as having a very hard head which he would slam into the heads of his opponents rendering them unconscious.   His nickname was THUMP.

I asked Teeto if A junkyard dog was George Wells or Big Daddy Ritter. He said yes, Arriba!

I've learned so much from wrestling over the years. One of the most important things is that you have to really look out for a black persons head. They are extremely hard and can do a lot of damage if unchecked. My favorite black baseball player was Babe Ruth.

I don't believe he ever held the I-C title.

Jordan Myles thinks he would've beaten Hulk Hogan for the World title if not for racism. He was a great worker, a modern-day Titus O'Neal. R.I.P. and fuck Trump.

I think JYD help the North American title (Mid South) ?

Nowhere in the league of Hogan. Charasmatic not the best wrestler, but a good interview.

Probably best as a regional star. WCW run was horrible.

Hall Of Famer? Let me think about that.

Babe Ruth absolutely did hold the I-C title.  He was the first black champion.

A Junkyard dog was also the last wrestler who was used as a slave character. His managers led him around in his slave chains and sicked him on their enemies.

A Junkfood Dog was Dave Meltzer's favorite wrestler in the 1980's. Not too shabby of a credit.

This same chained black slave dog was forced to bow to white supremacy @ WM3 in one of the most subliminally racist matches of all time

Harley and JYD wrestled for the first time. I think Harley was dq'd. After the match, Harley and Bobby roughed up JYD and tried to force him to bow down. They feuded until WM3, where the stipulation was the loser had to bow down to the winner.

I was just informed by private message that Col. Rob Parker was supposed to bring Harlem Heat (slave gimmick) to the ring in slave chains at their debut. By this time, the public no longer wanted slaves on TV and the standards and practices of WCW tv shows preferred Col Rob Parker to do a Kentucky Fried Gimmick instead. Some people are ready for another slave chain gimmick in todays market though A Junkyard Dog will not be reviving his old gimmick due to being one of the many dead Intercontintal Champions.

My favorite JYD period is fall of ‘86 before the Harley feud when they had nothing for him to do, so he’d be in a six-man tag every week on Superstars with Pedro Morales and George Steele (sometimes Tito, Hillbilly Jim or Dick Slater would be in there too).

He once headbutted a man to death, and then crawled around on the floor and headbutted the corpse some more so the man could not be identified. *BONG*
