All these dudes should follow the Ambrose gameplan, keep your head down and do your work til your contract is out, but all wanted that Vince scared money.
A lot of these guys signed years ago when WWE was the only game in town. The wrestling landscape has changed so dramatically in the last 5 years, and again in the last 2, that it's a whole different ballgame. There are more options than there ever were before and less reason than ever before to sign with WWE unless you really think you're going to be a top guy. Otherwsie, even the money isn't really much better, just maybe more consistent and you don't have to hustle as much for it. But if you were Hunico all those years ago when you signed, you were praising Baby Jesus because there was no way you were making a living in this business anywhere else. It's not like he was ever in demand.
I'm not sure what he is expecting would happen if they granted his release. He's 42, and he wouldn't be able to wrestle as either Sin Cara or Hunico. Is he hoping to go back to being Incognito (the irony) and popping the TNA and Chikara fans who have a lot of nostalgia for those halcyon years of 2006-2008? Or go back to Mexico and get paid in tacos and crack?
