Heenan, Cornette, Paul Heyman, Jimmy Hart

All of them were much more than managers; Hennan was a great worker and bumping machine, Cornette and Heyman were in charge of their own territories, and Jimmy Hart was instrumental in the production of music and videos for the WWF.

The fact they all were multi-talented elevates them above some other great talkers (Albano, Pringle/Paul Bearer)

That makes no sense whatsoever.

Because I grew up in the northeast:

Albano, Blassie Grand Wizard, Heenan

All respect to Cornette & Dillon who entertained me as I got older. It's kind of like how you still listen to the music you grew up with. To this day I can just watch local promos of the 3 Wise Men of the East from the late 70's and early 80's and laugh my ass off.

Albano, Heenan, JJ, Wizard.

My explanation: I love Cornette. But he basically managed the MX and the Heavenly Bodies, and that’s it. Jimmy Hart was great too, but he was midcard right up until he worked with Hogan, and by the time he was with Hogan, it was the end of the run. He did get some points though for actually managing Hogan. Heyman gets points that way too because he manages Lesnar, but before that? Yup, mostly a midcarder. The entire sport is a work. Albano and Heenan were ring managers and took great beatings and bled (Albano loses points there based on his openly blading). Albano loses some points for being virtually a WWF lifer, but him leading no less than 342 teams to the Tag Titles can’t be ignored. Heenan managed Bock, Stevens, Blackjacks, and for fuck’s sake Andre and Flair. That has to make him the GOAT. Wiz is before a lot of our time, but he managed Graham when he was World Champ, he was very successful outside of the WWF as well. Wiz is actually my 4th choice overall, and I may be convinced to change him if the argument was solid.
