In the watch along Bruce Pritchard podcast of Summer Slam '89, Bruce claims that a woman flashes the camera her bresticles shortly after the broadcast begins while The Hart Foundation starts to make their ring entrance. Bruce explains the obvious edit on the WWE Network but clearly states it made air on the live PPV. I still have my original PPV version and I watched the segment several times before and afterwards and clearly this did not happen. Anyone else ever hear this story from Bruce or anyone else?

Summerslam 89 was on my birthday. Trust me, if boobs made the air, I would not only remember, I'd have been talking about it for the past 30 years. I am guessing that if it did happen, they were able to dump out of it on the PPV. The only time I remember seeing audience boobs on TV like that was during the Attitude Era, and somewhere there's a GIF of this.

Bruce Prichard is a habitual liar, so there's that...

The Summer Slam sign falling on a startled Mean Gene causing him to exclaim "fuck it!" AND tits being shown on the same PPV? It's too good to be true.

I was thinking that maybe Bruce just misjudged when the incident happened, so I watched every crowd shot segment in slow-mo and low and behold - still no titties. I think Bruce is full of shit.

I like Bruce. I dig his impressions and think he's a great storyteller. But I also think he's full of shit sometimes.

Somewhat off topic, but one of the stupidest bones I think Conrad tried to pick with him was over the post Wrestlemania 9 European tour. Bruce said one of the reasons they put the belt on Hogan was so he could do a farewell tour in Europe as champion. But Conrad keeps hammering home that Bruce is full of shit because Hogan wasn't on that tour. Bruce is adamant that was part of why he was made champion and maybe something changed but he doesn't have his records in front of him. However Conrad keeps bitching that Bruce is lying. Then after arguing back and forth for awhile finally Bruce pulls up a tour later in the summer that Hogan was on.  Conrad is still all "but you said...". Who gives a fuck??  I was with Bruce on that one. I believe it IS possible something could've changed, but still, Hulk DID work in Europe as part of his last hurrah so what's the big fucking deal??

(Or, another possibility, the argument was staged to make the episode more entertaining).

I remember that European tour argument, it got old pretty quick.

I really enjoyed this podcast for awhile but I lost interest, fell behind and have no interest in getting caught up.

I think 99% of the conflict between Conrad and Bruce is a werk.

Of course. But Bruce thinking that every shitty idea is brilliant is not.

I will cut Bruce Prichard some slight slack about Hogan and the 1993 European tour. Hulk Hogan wasn't on the tour immediately after Mania, but he did go on the summer tour of Europe. Hogan's win by disqualification over Yokozuna in Sheffield, England on 8/6/93 was his final WWF match until returning with the NWO in early 2002.

Ironically, Hogan lost the WWF Title to Yoko at King of the Ring nearly two months before this match. So he went to Europe without the belt. However, in this case I can see Prichard getting the two tours crossed in his mind and using his incorrect memory as justification for why Hulk got the belt back at Mania.

We take these dates pretty seriously, but if you asked me about specific events of my life from 1993, I'd be lost for the most part and would bet that is the same for the majority of people. Bruce Prichard still often plays loose with the facts to spin the version of history that suits his cause the best, but I think he's just making a mistake in this case.
