Rusev tweeted that he is donating $20,000 to WWE crew (production, security, etc.) who are losing money due to the shutdowns.

That’s a nice chunk of his Rusev Day merch royalties but I doubt it dips much into his downside guarantee.

PWInsider:

Dana Brooke is expected to be pulled from her Wrestlemania 36 match.

Brooke, who had been scheduled for a Six-Way bout as one of the challengers for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship, has been sent home and is currently in quarantine, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported today.

PWInsider.com has confirmed that Brooke was not feeling well and was sent home last week. She is still listed on the WWE website listing for the match currently. It is still officially slated to be WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Bayley vs. Brooke vs. Sasha Banks vs. Lacey Evans vs. Tamina vs. Naomi

It is possible WWE could go with a five way bout or tap someone else (Carmella, Nia Jax, etc.) to replace Brooke in the bout.

WWE will be taping this year's Wrestlemania on Wednesday and Thursday for airing on the WWE Network on 4/5 and 4/6.

Any other professional team, and the entire thing would be shut down.

Just came through that Roman Reigns is out of his Mania match due to Coronavirus concerns. Hopefully it’s a false alarm for his sake with his past battles with leukemia. From a Mania standpoint, they really screwed the pooch by not recording the show already.

This is fucking pathetic and I hope this leads to the complete destruction of WWE.

According to this, he is simply being proactive given his leukemia and doesn't actually think he has it.  So I don't think there's any need to worry about his health, but it makes WWE look fucking horrible that top stars have to tell them that they can't work due to health concerns instead of the other way around.  However, I do think Reigns should've said this 2 weeks ago since it was obvious that he was the last person who should be working right now.

PWInsider:

Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet is reporting that Roman Reigns has pulled out of his WrestleMania Universal Title match against Bill Goldberg due to his concerns over the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Satin reported:
Sources with knowledge of the situation tell us Reigns expressed to WWE that he didn’t feel comfortable doing anymore of the Performance Center shows during the coronavirus pandemic because he’s immunocompromised from his battle with leukemia and didn’t want to risk his health.
We’re told WWE honored his request and he will now be replaced by someone else in the match against Goldberg, though it’s unclear who at this time.
Given that Satin works with WWE on their FOX show, I think it's fair to say he wouldn't have reported this if it wasn't true.  Personally, I have nothing but respect for Reigns and the decision he made.  If I were in his position, I would have done the same thing.

Vince really needs to come on the air to kick off Smackdown on Friday and knock off this shit about putting smiles on people's faces and just be a man and say, "Look, we tried because I've always had the mentality that the show must go on, but clearly we can't do this. We're rescheduling for a stadium show in this summer and it's going to be awesome so just wait until then and you'll get all the matches you were promised. Until then, here's 35 hours of matches involving Tony Nese and highlights of past shows before we sucked."

The fact that Vince has refused to let anyone even mention "Coronavirus" because of this warped idea that WWE doesn't exist in the real world goes so far beyond his usual mental problems into brand new territory.  They did a fucking 9/11 tribute show where they let JBL talk about bombing the Middle East until it looked like a parking lot, but they can't acknowledge a health crisis?  How are they going to address Reigns not wrestling without ever say the word "Coronavirus"?  That will be interesting verbal gymnastics.

I agree with everything you said, but once again, you're giving Vince way.too much credit. He's not gonna do that. Remember, Vince took himself off TV two years ago because he literally can't remember the lines he wrote for himself! Of course, Smackdown isn't live week, so maybe Vince does a promo?

Just looked at the PPV section on comcast.

Night one of Wrestlemania is $39.99 plus taxes/fees

Night two of Wrestlemania is $59.99 Plus taxes/fees

What a bargain lol.  Who in their right mind would pay all of that?  I don't know how much "taxes/fees" are, but you could get the entire network for at least 10 months for that much.
