Shocking! Amstread is overrated and Buckner is a possible future hall of famer. I do like having the 13th pick though.

Diggs is good, but that's a great trade for Minnesota. Several good receivers in the draft this year. Every time  I think Buffalo is on the verge of being a consistently good team, they go and do something stupid like this. WRs are a dime a dozen in the NFL.

Texans trade WR DeAndre Hopkins to Cardinals for RB David Johnson. Both guys are slightly past their prime, but Hopkins has a lot more tread on his tires than injury prone Johnson. Good trade for AZ. Apparently, Bill O'Brian and Hopkins don't get along. Big shock.

I'm predicting right now that the NFC West will send 3 teams to the playoffs in 2020. No division has ever sent 3 teams to the playoffs in the same season in NFL history.

And for the millioned time, Bart Scott on ESPN proved he's dumber than dirt. He actually claimed that Buffalo got the best of the Stephon Diggs/Viking trade. And this idiot actually gets paid for his incompetence. Riggs was a cancer in the locker room and like I said earlier, there are several WRs top in the draft. The Vikings made out like bandits in this trade!

I was surprised Diggs was traded. There had been a lot of talk about him wanting out, but he's 26 and I figured the team would want to hang on to him. That said, the return from the trade was great, especially compared to how the Texans got ripped off on the Hopkins trade. Now the Vikes need to use those picks wisely.

Teddy Bridgewater is headed to Carolina which means Cam Newton is done there.

Rumors are hot that Tom Brady will be signed by the Buccaneers tomorrow, leaving Jameis Winston in need of a new team.

I am not sure what the Patriots will do next.

It isn't a long term move. The Colts are admitting they blew it with Jacoby Brissett, so they're looking at Rivers to mind the store for a season while they figure out a long term solution at quarterback.

Regarding Joe Flacco getting cut by the Broncos, apart from his neck injury, there were some hard feelings on the coaching staff after Flacco publicy knocked the play calling after a close loss right before he got hurt.

Apparently Dak Prescott is fixin' to be the highest paid player in NFL history. What a joke! He's a good Quarterback, but he's maybe the 10th best QB in the NFL at best. I love the fact that the Cowboys continue to overpay though. The Jones' are clueless and will be in salary cap purgatory within 2 years. I love it!

Psycho and Colin Kaepernick's personal cocksucker DB Eric Reid wants the new NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement invalidated. He says the language on the NFLPA website differs from what the players voted on. The crazy idiot now wants an investigation and a re-vote. The NFL has declined to comment as yet of this post. As a Niner fan, I can honestly say that Eric Reid has been an ignorant dipshit for years now.

He'll be cut. He's supposed to make $21 million. He's hurt every year and you can slot in Mecole Hardman for him at 1/10 the price

The problem for the Chiefs is next year. Pat Mahomes is on his last year of his rookie contract making 2.5 mil this year. He's probably looking at something around 40 mil a year.Chris Jones is a FA after next season too. He's making 16 mil. He might get traded or allowed to test free agency next season.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter goes off on the NFL on Sportcenter: "We all want to see the days where we have that distraction of football. But OTAs? That’s not happening. Offseason program? That’s not happening. The draft is happening only through the sheer force and determination and lack of foresight, frankly! They are determined to put this on while there is carnage in the streets!”

Adam Schefter makes a good point, but if the NFL has the means to hold its draft remotely, then I see no reason not to. While making contingency plans for everything from having no 2020 season to an abbreviated season to starting the season with no fans in the stands, the NFL still needs to plan on the 2020 season happening in full as normal. Free agency has been moving along for the past month and there is no reason to not also draft players so that the contracts get signed and ensure that these new players are ready to join their teams when things can move forward normally.

Why wouldn’t the draft be done remotely? It’s just people talking

Eli Apple and the Raiders could not reach an agreement so Apple returns to the free agent market.
