12/30/1949 Houston TX Lou Thesz beat Wladek Kowalski 12/31/1950 Houston TX Lou Thesz beat Wladek Kowalski I am almost 100% certain that neither of these matches happened I cannot find a record of either one of these matches. Nothing about wrestling in the 12/30/49 Houston Chronicle 12/29/50 Houston Chronicle -- "There will be no wrestling at the City Auditorium tonight, but the sport resumes its weekly billing next Friday (Jan 5, 1951) Wrestlingdata shows their first encounter as January 6, 1950 in St Louis Matches in Houston on 5/5/50 and 5/19/50

10/15/1956 Boston MA Killer Kowalski draw Buddy Rogers Don Leo Jonathan beat Ramon Torres Emile Dupre beat Great Oyama Kato Hard Boiled Haggerty (Don Stansauk) beat Billy Darnell Kowalski's match was not a draw. Results Boston Globe 10/16/56. "Tied at one fall apiece, Rogers attacked the referee and was disqualified" Also, 10/22/56 is advertised as Kowalski Rogers rematch, but apparently Rogers was not there Last edited on Tue Feb 23rd, 2021 02:34 am by paulsosn |
