I agree with that assessment of the last Fargo season. My wife and I almost didn’t watch it because of the slow start. But once it gets going, it is awesome.

So I started binging 30 Rock this week, LOVED it when it originally aired and knew it would be a good watch again. It IS, but...well, considering it was written/created by woke Tina Fey and starred her and Alec Baldwin...this show is REALLY offensive (at least what passes as offensive these days). Fag thrown around all the time, constant gay homo jokes, she male and tranny jokes, etc...they could NOT do this show today and this thing just ended 8 years ago... With all that going on that won't last forever either.

I assume that Peacock won't bring them back. Last edited on Wed Feb 10th, 2021 04:45 pm by Kriss ____________________ “Never argue with an idiot. Just finished binge watching Justified for the 3rd time(2nd time actually binge watching I guess) and even though I knew the story it still felt like I was watching it for the first time. I imagine we'll revisit the show at some later date. The girlfriend gets to pick the next show we binge watch, outside of the regular things we watch. I'm hoping it's not something too frou frou.

Has anyone seen the show "Wayne" on Prime (originally on Youtube)? Thoroughly enjoyed that one.

Well, last year I finally watched all 53 of Alfred Hitchcock's movies. I had owned about 30 of them on DVD for some time, but had never watched some of them until now. The rest you could find on places like YouTube and various online sources.

On the Arrowverse now. Have binge watched Brooklyn Nine Nine, Parks and Rec, The Office, Agents of Shield, The Goldbergs, Agent Peggy Carter, Titans, Doom Patrol, AP Bio, and a handful of other shows during the last year.

I enjoy the Arrowverse, but much like Smallville in the past, I always have to remind myself that the CW is targeted at a young audience, equally male and female, so along with all the pretty good superhero stuff, there is a good dollop of soap opera romance, which I know puts some people off. Having said that, I have watched every episode of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, Batwoman, and I'm looking forward to the debut of Superman & Lois tonight. It's a mammoth undertaking if you watch all the series, but when it all ties together in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, it's all worth it. Speaking of mammoth undertakings, I've finally started watching Stargate. Never watched it at the time, and it's always been quite daunting with 10 series plus spin-offs, but I'm half-way through S2 and enjoying it.

Although it doesn’t feel much like quarantine anymore with everything opened back up in Ohio, the wife and I started watching 24 last week. Neither of us have ever seen it but we were both hooked right away, so far it’s living up to all the hype we’ve heard for years.

I did enjoy it back then (20 years ago! Holy Shit!) but the ends-justify-the-means torture scenes (spoiler?) are a complete turn off for me today. The whole split screen thing was pretty cool, though. I remember it became a bit of a thing in the movies for a while. You never see it today, so I guess the majority of viewers don't like it.

It definitely feels old compared to anything on tv today both in video quality and small things such as a flip phone not getting reception, but I will say the storylines are compelling regardless and I’m enjoying it a lot so far.

My family is trying to watch all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and TV shows in storyline chronological order. While it is helpful for some things like knowing who a character is or the origin of a weapon, it really makes it difficult to follow the TV shows since a lot of stuff can happen between seasons. For example, it took us nearly 4 months to get to the next season of Agents of Shield since there was a number of movies and seasons of other TV shows that we had to watch first. When we are finished, I want to binge watch a few of the TV shows without the other MCU stuff.
