I saw Brisco at the TV tapings in the early to mid 90s and would have done road agenting ala Goulet, Lanza etc. at house shows. He may have been the coordinator of the guys doing the pull aparts without having to do it himself.

The Cain situation is bizarre. Supposedly WWE signed him without knowing how badly hurt he was, which is absolute negligence. They run medical screenings on everyone, how could that happen?  Then they job him to Lesnar in 5 seconds, supposedly because he couldn’t do anything else due to injury, but I have my doubts. I think they just gave up on him before he even had a match. How do you possibly use him after that debut?  Other than a Mexican house show, the answer is “You don’t.”  What a waste of money.

Tom Colohue, Sr. Reporter at Sportkeeda, says there were a number of things leading to Cain's release aside from budget cuts.  He says that Cain basically had heat from Day One and kept digging a bigger hole and was completely incapable of working within the WWE system.

First, there's the undisclosed injury that was well documented and caused the Saudi Arabia match to be cut to almost nothing.  But despite getting major heat right off the bat with that, WWE was happy with his progress in rehab and were willing to move forward with him.  But then he blabbed about being a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble, and Vince pulled him from the match after that.  Finally, in early March he tweeted a pic of him and Ronda Rousey together at the PC.  WWE didn't want anyone to know that she was there and possibly gearing up for another run, and that was basically the last straw.  The belief is that he was done with WWE at that point and it was convenient that they were able to hide his release amongst all the others to downplay the story of what a disaster his signing was.

Curtis Axel has been released.

WWE put a lot into this guy. 13 years under contract, including 3 in developmental. Numerous gimmick changes. And he was never even slightly over. Never drew a dime, as someone once said. He was solid in the ring, but never interesting, and he had zero personality or charisma. In the 70s, you could have put him in a masked tag team, but that's the best thing I can say about him.

I guess Curtis Axel has finally been eliminated from the 2015 Royal Rumble.

I wonder why it took them an extra 2 weeks to release Axel. A bit strange as everyone expected him to be in the original batch. And someone Bo Dallas survives still.

I heard Bo Dallas is injured.  Vince doesn't like releasing injured people right?  Maybe when he gets healthy he will also be shown the door.

There was a story this week that anyone who wanted out was free to leave. Maybe he requested his release.

Unless you've hit your downside guarantee like The Revival did, this is a really shit time to leave with no prospects of a paycheck coming for possibly months, and a glut of talent available as soon as bookings open up again.  Of course, that's why WWE is offering.

I don't think I've ever seen the ratio of men to women closer than it is right now on Raw and Smackdown.

Ember Moon is definitely injured and every once in a while is used on the panel for Backstage while she rehabs.

Akam from AOP is injured for the 2nd time since their Raw call-up, and this one was really badly timed since they had just joined Rollins' stable, so I figure he has one more chance before WWE gives up on him.

I think Carillo is injured, I have no idea about Ali, and Titus seems to just not wrestle anymore and serves only as a goodwill ambassador.  He's all over Twitter every day meeting with different groups and charities and making other speaking engagements.  For all intents and purposes, his in-ring career seems over and he's basically a mascot.  His last match was in December, and his last time on TV was November.  I think his job is safe.

He was also the sub host at WrestleMania when Gronk ran off with the 24/7 title.

What happened to that Riddick Moss guy?  They were using him in the 24/7 division for a while and he was hanging out with Mojo Rawley for a little bit.  I feel like I haven't seen him in months.  Anybody know where he is?

Ziggler put Otis over again tonight on Smackdown, qualifying Otis for Money in the Bank.  Any chance Dolph is on his way out?  Where could he possibly go from here in WWE?
