Strange that 4 names have come out, and none of the them are in-ring performers.

Apparently some guy called "The Ultimate Pusher" Tyreke who is a manager in MLW (never heard of him) was one of the friends and family in the audience and he has tested positive. He seems to be a crackpot on his Twitter, though. He's pleading with Renee Young and Triple H to get in touch with him. Apart from vague references to him being the manager of Logan Creed in MLW, I can find nothing about this guy with Google that isn't connected to this Covid test. I think he might be an attention seeker o just plain crazy.

I have watched MLW every week since it got the BeIN TV deal and have no idea who this is.  I remember Logan Creed from maybe 1 episode, but not this guy.

There are some reports that with this latest wave of positives, there is heat on guys for partying in Florida like nothing is going on and putting themselves and the company at great risk. You can bet going forward WWE will try to crack down on that, but it's hard to enforce after-hours activities.

He seems to be claiming to be Creed's business manager, rather than his kayfabe wrestling manager. Still smells of bullshit.

WWE have been full-on Donald Trump about Covid. Ignore it and it doesn't exist.

Behind the scenes I don't think it's fair to say they're ignoring it.  On camera, it's bizarre that they live in this fantasy world where it doesn't exist, but that's Vince's Peter Pan Syndrome of not wanting to acknowledge the outside world and only recognizing the Land-of-Make-Believe.  AEW is so refreshing.  They even created an angle out of Orange Cassidy wearing a mask as a cameraman to hide his identity and get off a sneak attack, which is a no-brainer given the circumstances.  But WWE misses these opportunities because "masks are for pussies".

WWE doesn't have to worry about the Wrestlers going to bars any more Florida just banned bars from serving alcohol on site drinking.

PWInsider:

WWE has canceled plans to tape this Monday's episode of Raw today at the WWE Performance Center. They now intend to tape Raw tomorrow.

Today's taping has included tonight's episode of Smackdown as well as 205 Live. I believe they will tape Main Event today as well.

The problem in Florida has not only been that people stopped isolating and social distancing too soon, there was never a comprehensive plan that was properly implemented in the first place.

For the first time ever, masks were apparently allowed on TV at the PC because more than half of the “fans” were wearing them on Smackdown tonight. Vince and Kevin Dunn has been adamantly against them up until now.

So QT Marshall came into contact with someone who later tested positive, and he and all his trainees were kept away from the AEW taping. WWE has two dozen people test positive but carries on filming their sweaty men and women fake fighting. They will end up with their whole roster testing positive.

A developmental talent has leaked some info. Kevin Dunn would speak over the PA in the PC telling people not to be wearing masks when the cameras were rolling, and that lots of WWE people were partying in Florida, being careful not to have any of this get onto social media, they lying about it on the WWE questionnaire that they had to fill in before every taping.

Apparently Vince McMahon is adamant that WWE will host the first live indoor sports event with fans post-Covid. They are looking at the Lakeland Civic Center in late July or early August.

Yeah run in Florida in a few weeks, the new epicenter of the virus.  Vince really is senile.  He'd have a better chance running MSG at this point.

Just the concept that these guys still want to have a dick-waving contest to see who gets back first. Unreal. No concept of reality. And "late July" for Florida now...based on what's happening? Might as well reset to mid-March 2020 and add at least 90 days to that.

All that said, to me there's so much liability involved with being the first, both from a PR standpoint and just legally, even if people signed waivers. I'd easily just step back and let someone else jump-in and take that honor of being the first event to run with fans.

They were so proud of being the first one to fill an arena after 9/11, and they seem to have some over-inflated opinion of how important they are in entertaining the people and putting smiles on faces. This probably goes back to that.

PWInsider:

World Wrestling Entertainment informed their staff and roster this afternoon that the company is officially enforcing that protective masks must be worn at all times (except for talents performing on camera, obviously) while at TV tapings.

Going forward, WWE will be fining those who do not wear masks $500 for their first violation.

Anyone who has a second offense of not wearing a mask after that will be fined $1,000.
