I've been lucky.  Pistons have 3, Wings 4, Angels & Buccaneers each won one.  My college Northern Michigan, won Hockey, Football, cross country skiing,  and 2 volleyball national championships in my lifetime.

I'm a New York Jets fan, born in 1977, every once in awhile I'll watch footage of Joe Willie Namath on YouTube. I don't expect them to go to Superbowl bowl in my lifetime, even if they get Trevor Lawrence and a new coach starting next year.

You never know. It took the Chiefs 50 years to get back and win.

Minneapolis Star Tribune sports columnist Sid Hartman died the other week at age 100. He was working until the end, his last piece running on the day he died. He covered the Minnesota Vikings for 60 seasons and never saw the team win the Super Bowl, going 43 years from their most recent appearance until his death.

I’ve been waiting almost 34 years for Dusty and Nikita to win the NWA World Tag Team Championships that they promised they’d win for Magga TA, but I don’t even think they’ve teamed up recently.

Detroit Lions fan since '77, Doubt they'll ever win a title.

I've seen every major Chicago franchise win a championship over my life (60 years) but I think I'd trade a few of them for teams that were more consisten winners. Chicago has gone years, sometimes decades without having a team as a serious contender in any sport.
