This was the best fake news ever then because when I first heard my crazy conservative friends talking about it I thought "Bullshit" and then Billboard, Consequence of Sound, and all these other real sites were reporting it.
So here is Ticketmaster's statement that I just found on Blabbermouth:
"It was widely misreported yesterday that Ticketmaster will be requiring vaccine status/test results for future events. This is not true. Ticketmaster does not have the power to set policies around safety/entry requirements, which would include vaccines and/or testing protocols. That is up to the discretion of the event organizer. We are indeed exploring these options, but it is still only a potential concept. And Ticketmaster will not be able to require such parameters — it would always be up to the event organizer."
I don't know. "We are indeed exploring these options, but it is still only a potential concept. " Maybe it got leaked too soon and now they're doing damage control over negative feedback. I checked my original source again and supposedly it comes directly from Billboard after discussing with a Ticketmaster rep. So either they're back-tracking or someone needs to be fired. Right now, I'm thinking this is some major back-tracking. They're playing semantics that this isn't in place yet (no shit), but not really denying that this is going to happen.
