I will try to answer your question as 'basically' as possible without being long-winded
When the site first started I issued invites to people that I would call 'friends' from other places and invited them here.
The board was originally set-up by 'invite only'
We didn't get a whole lot of 'referrals' and needed to 'open the gates' after a couple years
It really hasn't been a problem for the most part but over the past year or two it became clear to me that in the mix are some people that we would probably be better off without.
In 2021 the 'rules' for the RAW Ratings Pool with be slightly different. As will the rules for the 2021 Poster Of The Year.
Heck, we'll even have a fun/stupid 'Hot Girl Next Door' minus the poster that goes out of their way to shit on the thing. Everyday. Intentionally.
So, I want to keep the things that work and that are 'site staples'. If I need to change some things around to do that I will.
It isn't 'my site' as much as it is the Khawks, Srossi, Lobos, Benlens, Kargols (maybe not Kargol let me think about that) there are people that have been here since day one and I listen to what they have to say. I believe they truly have the sites best interest at heart.
If it truly is not possible to set up a way for you to see who votes what then do it without the poll where anyone casting a vote has to actually post their vote.
For POTY there doesn't seem to be much participaction considering the amount of site members and there are some that maybe take it a bit too serious.
As far as the RAW Ratings Pick Em Pool as well as other contests the fun aspect does appear to have been sucked out of many of them lately.I barely watch any current wrestling so participate for the sake of participating in something.Again there are those that treat it as life or death. Anything where a DVD is on offer even if I've won I haven't collected on the DVD's in years. I have enough to watch. It's more about participating.
Most of my time I try and spend in the results section, which is what brought me here in the first place. Others have their own reasons for being here.
