That would be cool. I've said for years that if there was ever going to be a female playing against the boyz, It should start at place kicker or punter.I wish her luck.

It'll start and end there because it wouldn't take long for somebody to knock her uterus into the parking lot. At that point they can either quietly abandon the whole project or begin carving out special rules. Women are stunning and brave, so they'll probably go the special rules route.

So she's not actually a football player? She's the goalkeeper for the women's soccer team. So many squad members isolating that they had no place-kickers left. This kind of nonsense muddies the water. There's no problem with women playing a "men's" sport and working their way through the same system, but this was a team with a depleted squad who knew they were going to lose looking for a little publicity. It worked, because it made the UK sports news. I guess a soccer goalkeeper has some transferable skills to football place-kicking, but there are probably female football players competing with men in an attempt to be the first, and she backed her way in from a different sport. The kick looking shitty (even if the coach said that was the intended play) did nothing for the advancement of women in football either. It is a shame that she didn't get a chance at a field goal or an extra point, though. It would have been a bigger deal if she had put some points on the board.

I know you're being facetious, but it's the complete opposite. Harris has worked her way up the political ranks. This is more comparable to Trump, sidestepping in from a different world with a (very) few transferable skills, only because there was no one qualified available.
