Jack Reynolds died.  He was a WWF commentator in the ;ate '70s-early '80s.  I have no recollection of him at all, but I'd probably recognize his face.

He was the host of the IWA shows with Tex McKenzie, the original host of WWF Prime Time, and the original host of Pro Wrestling USA.

*sigh*

Jack Reynolds was the NWAssociation welterweight champ for a few years in the early 30s.  He and Cal Farley set the attendance record for a sporting event (1o,000) in Texas.  The event took place on June 7th 1930 in Amarillo.

Since *EYE* know about this and YOU people obviously dont, trine keep your personal OPINIONS in the General Discussion forums and LEAVE the posts in THIS forum for the WRESTLING.

He also did All-Star/Maple Leaf Wrestling with Angelo Mosca, and later with Ventura.

*Bong* for the best WWF personality that looks like Dave Thomas (who played one of the McKenzie brothers with Rick Moranis and did a whole bunch of other stuff) EVER.

From wwe.com:

WWE is saddened to learn of the death of one of its former announcers, Jack Reynolds.

Reynolds passed away on Oct. 16.

Reynolds joined WWE’s broadcast team in the early 1980s, and assumed the role of play-by-play announcer for the then-All-Star Wrestling telecasts, teaming up with Canadian football legend-turned-wrestler Angelo “King Kong” Mosca, and later Jesse “The Body” Ventura. And it was Reynolds and Ventura who became the original hosts of Prime Time Wrestling when it debuted in 1985 on USA Network.

Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Jack Reynolds.
