I'm torn on the Royals. THey have good young talent, but still aren't anywhere near a contender. But I think they can still push past 72.5 as Cleveland will be down, the Tigers are atrocious, Minn and Chicago being the top teams in that division.

Taking the over on anyone is presuming the season gets all 162 games in. that could be problematic of course with games getting postponed already. ...and if a team like Pitt has games postponed early against another no hoper, there is a chacne they don't even try to make them up at the end of the year. Things like playoffs starting on time and whatnot will factor into that. The NHL is seeing this happen now as their playoffs were scheduled for a May 11 start but two makeup games have apparently already been plugged into that date. This is even before the Canucks getting covid this week and losing at least a week of games. At a certain point they will revert to win percentage if they have to so the games missed won't be played...and that would seriously fuck someone's over/under for wins if they had bet that prop. Buyer beware I guess.

I didn't do the math on these but in the NFL at least, there was a tendency for numbers to be bet too high as everybody looks at it from a 'if everyone is healthy' perspective If the average is 82 games, than the numbers are slanted too high by a game, vice-versa, etc

86.5 is way too high for the Jays. Sure, they have a good hitting club with the 3 Amigos & Springer, but they have no pitching.
