The current portrayals of Apollo Crews and Akira Tozawa are cultural stereotypes straight out of the 1980s. They could have at least made Crews a Nigerian from 2021 and dressed him in army fatigues like Wesley Snipes from Coming 2 America.

Technically a spoiler, but I can't imagine that a single person will really care. It looks like Billie Kay & Carmella will be added to the women's tag team gauntlet. WWE tweeted then quickly removed a graphic with them included today.

The one storyline they have carrying from day 1 to day 2 and they’ve already screwed that up.

They got success when they broke up the Rockers. I'm struggling to think of a similar example since. Yet they keep doing it - get a tag team that starts to get over, and they break them up. And it seems to be accelerating as a trend. Rusev Day, Heavy Machinery, American Alpha, Andrade & Garza, and, unless it is going somewhere as a swerve, the stupidest of the lot - the Hurt Business. That's 10 wrestlers who have done the square root of fuck all since their tag teams split - and doubtless the same will happen with the Hurt Business. That's basically 12 wrestlers with momentum all destroyed for no reason whatsoever. And Rusev Day/Heavy Machinery were phenomenally over. At least the Miz survived Mizdow but it's a stretch to say he's more over now than he was then.

Wasn't the Iiconics just a repackaged version of LayCool? And even then I thought that team was just a replay on the Wayans Brothers' "Men on Film" from In Living Color... "Hated It".

Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair is going to close the show on the first night. The internet is getting a little bit too excited about this being THE MAIN EVENT OF WRESTLEMANIA!!!!! Obviously the real main event of Night 1 is the the opener, getting the first reaction from a live crowd. And the real main event of WrestleMania is the last match on Night 2. So the women have been given third billing, behind the two men's title matches, which is pretty much exactly where they should be. So, not so historic.

So they rented the giant stadium, fans back for the first time, and there’s awful weather happening? Talk about bad luck. You knew this would eventually happen with one of these outdoor shows. At least the ring is protected.

They even dodged the bullet when they came to MetLife Stadium and there was a blizzard 5 days before.

Looks like they had a tarp over the entrance ramp and the ring. I said the ring was protected- I always assumed the giant canopy structure with lighting had a full cover. As I look at some photos on Twitter, I’m not so sure of that.
